    Good to see Gevor back at 160, he didn't look up to much at all last time out against Sartison but he's a tough fighter. Big test for Macklin and should provide an action packed fight on a pretty shocking undercard. Shame if this is the fight to derail Macklin after the fight he had lined up with Winky on HBO.

    Goldenboy do seem keen to give him a chance on a big show.

    There would be no shame in just about beating Gevor. Any form of victory against him is a result.

    In light of how crap Asikainen has gone on to do since losing to Macklin, this will probably be his best win really if he pulls it off. Down on boxrec as a WBA eliminator. The situation with the WBA at 160lbs is farcical.

    This is the toughest fight Macklin could have taken at european level, i think he takes it by close decision. Credit to Gevor for coming to fight Macklin in Britain, not many german boxers would have done that

    but if i was gevor, looking at Macklins last performance id be very confident so id be up for travelling...even though MM had a virus
