Most people on this forum made a HUGE deal over Alvarez punching Solis, another pro boxer.

Yet someone calls the guy hit by a baseball bat a snitch?

The defense attorney said the victim was a "classic stalker" and that the victim was following him around town before the attack/stalking the girlfriend.

The guy is a snitch **** him, he didn't die. There's more to this case than meets the eye.

Really the defense attorney said that?

OMG Really? Man that clears it up for me. Obviously the Victim deserved getting sapped with a baseball bat to the point you have to get a metal plate and 100 stitches in your head, he shouldn't be bitching.

    :patsch

Ah man. Did he not quit boxing after Mikey beat him up? :huh

This pretty much ends his career anyway. As a featherweight, he's going to come back at thirty? ...with several years of rust? Nah...

As it is even now he was on the outside looking in at serious contention. Now he'll be on the wrong kind of inside, looking out.

    Raw deal. Sucks.

He's lucky he isn't going away for murder. All this over a schifosa? His career is over, where he was never going to be a world beater at FW, likely he could have been a local hero for a while like Peter Manfredo Jr. Stupid ****.

It's a very somber and serious situation all around, but :lol::lol: @ Jordan Evans calling the sentencing a "gift decision" for Remillard. I can't help myself.

the assault happened in 2010, the case was pending during the time he fought Garcia. Probably a questionable decision by HBO to approve him at that time, but the victim may have been okay with it, thinking he could get more money in the end.

Yeah, I just noticed that - "last year". Garcia beat him up in March.

I can't recall if Lampley or anybody mentioned it on the broadcast? :huh They did delve a little bit into the back stories and personal lives of both Garcia and Remillard that night.

The five year anniversary of his larupping from Mikey approaches in a few weeks, and his release date (barring any time shaved off his sentence for good behavior - or added for bad :!:) is just shy of nine months away.

I can't find any interviews any more than half a year into his stint, at which time he said "My day will come to prove to the world that I am in fact a world class fighter when I am at 100%. Garcia didn’t beat me, I beat myself before the bell ever rang...", and that Arum never officially closed the door on promoting him when he returns. :think

Pro football players tend to have more money than your average boxer therefor can afford better representation.
