Zabs career looks about over. I had Lucas by 1 but was not impressed by either guy.

I didn't have a promblem with the cards. Zab won the early and early mid rounds Lucia poured it on late and got a kd. The promblem is he didn't close the twelth. I think zab stole the last round ala b-hop. Hit then hold. A draw or a one point victory rigger way was how I saw it. Not a robbery at all. A robbery is a ref counting a man out after he was dropped by a rabbit punch

Even Harold Lederman had Matthyse winning! It's a shame that Matthyse was cheated.

Another one of those 1 round one point robberies. There is already a flood of sour grapes posts from the resident mouth breathers. Most of the people voting probably didn't watch the fight.

Did you even look at the poll? It doesn't even ask if it was a robbery. It simply asks who people thought won.

I had Mathysse winning 7 rounds to 5 plus the knockdown. I guess body shots do not count as scoring criteria in the Unites States, Lucas should have thrown a half assed jab to CLEARLY win the rounds.
Was not as bad as Kotelnick vs Alexander, worst decision of the year in my opinion but I think Germany as the robbery capital of the world is gaining some stiff competition.
I knew they would give it to Judah though, not really surprised anymore. Lucas should have finished him when he had the chance.

This is the 2nd gift Zab has gotten in a tune-up fight. Pineda beat him before the Spinks rematch. He also got a gift of sorts against Baldomir when he got to keep his title and his fight with Mayweather.

Not surprising, Matthyse would bring no money against any of the titlists, while Zab still generates alot of interest with his many nuthuggers continuing to proclaim his greatness even after today, I'm sure.

Agree 100%. Can't argue with the scoring either 114-113 Judah and 114-113 Matthysse. Not a robbery, close fight, could have went either way.

I would have to score it to tell you for sure but it was a very close fight. Judah controlled the first part of the fight and then faded badly and almost got KOed toward the end. It appeared that Matthysse should have won by about 1 point, but I had a lot of money riding on Judah so I'm pretty happy about the outcome personally. :happy

Yea, knee-jerk reactions and pendulum swings are quite popular on here.

Schooled? Naw, it was a close fight. Look at Zab in the two last rounds, he looked like he didn't want to fight anymore.

By the way, Lucas is from Argentina not Spain, so he's an Argentine. He speaks Spanish, but is not from Spain you dig? Now you just got schooled :good.
