Foreman would just be the big puncher, better athlete, stronger, systematic destroyer. The nearest thing Baer got to Foreman was Louis, who while more technical wasn't as strong/powerful.

I see Baer getting ko'd or quiting in the early to mid rounds

I have to go with Big George in this one. He had a better 2 fisted arsenal than Max who seemed to rely on a big right hand and not much else. Plus George had a powerful jab when he chose to use it while Max really didn't have much of a jab, more of a paw. I'm not saying that Max has no chance but he's not a tricky shifty or mobile fighter, the kind that really troubled George. He's a stand up 1 handed puncher and I really don't see that type of fighter beating Foreman in a slugfest. Foreman by KO in 3 or 4 rnds.

Sick and tired of people saying Max was strictly a right handed
puncher despite footage to the contrary. Here he is demolishing
King Levinski with his hook at 4:45 of the following clip:

Duodenum already commented on the right hand issue but Max also was more mobile as George, see the Carnera fight for evidence, and he can be tricky, setting his right up with feints.
Do you think a one-handed stand-up boxer would beat a Max Schmeling?

In terms of size they are about even. Foreman would have about a 10 Lbs weight advantage but that would be the largest gap in size between the two.
I think Foreman hit harder but Bear could hit as well.
While neither is a master boxer they could both take care of themselves in the ring.
I think Bear's biggest issue was focus, and Foreman's was stamina.

I think this comes down to rather or not Bear is focused.
I think Foreman being a puncher will make him be focused.

I will take Bear by late round t/ko in this one.

great fight! for an "exhibition" they went at it. may as well have been for the title. 6oz gloves, king was a genuine contender and both were trying to take each others head off. kingfish was out cold.

Yeah, Kingfish provoked him, and had only himself to blame. Maxie showed what the true gulf of separation between them really was. It does make one wonder what Max may have achieved with a fire perpetually lit under him. Does Braddock beat him if he's fully aroused with his dander up?

We went through this a few months ago.....

    Foreman and Baer are similar.......

Foreman is bigger, stronger and more powerful than Baer.... Foreman KO's Baer in a wild affair of power......

BUT! The senile old farts who are lost in the 30s will swear to Christ that Baer was God and he'd KO Foreman..... It's total bull****, but what can we do.?.?

    Foreman....
