Yes, he had good skills and boxing ability, but was a bit undedicated and lazy at times, but I would still predict that he would beat Baer

Yes, a lot on here fail to accept it, but boxing evolved a lot from the 30s, people fought stiff and very predictable in comparison to even the 60s onwards, and plenty of people from even now would beat the likes of Joe Louis, they were great for there time, but time has passed and boxing has evolved
why is it people like 70sfan or jan are crazy like they are blind why say max joe or anybody from that era can beat anybody who was skilled 70-90s it's like they give a skill and style upgrade to those who fought in Max's era which would be a difference on them beating anybody from the eras I said but in dream matches we take boxers the way they fought and when we do that it is no way at all anybody from Max's era can beat anybody from the years I named
