Not only did floyd(who I believe is the best boxer alive) already have a weight advantage, he gave himself an even BIGGER weight advantage. I would rather see Pac vs JMM 3 and then Shane Mosley vs PBF. I don't even want to see Pacquaio who was a featherweight most of his career fight floyd. I want floyd to prove he is worth his weight and take on a big fast welterweight. Hell, I would even rather see PBF vs Cotto.
Where I net-out, Z. Like my grandma used to say: "Educated he is, smart he's not." How would Merchant have handled it?
That's because Merchant is an actual journalist. This kid is some spoiled brat who had these jobs handed to him because of his rich daddy's connections. And it shows.:yep
Kellermans interview was shocking with his questions he was never gonna get any good answers, and he had mosley and mayweather face to face and he wouldnt let either of thems peak ffs, kept taking the microphone away 2 seconds into what they were saying id want to hear what floyd and shane are saying to eachother, hold the microphone there not next to your non speaking smug mouth you stupid ****
Yo you whores did not see the ambush in the works..lol Kellerman was in on the ****ing whole thing. He talked Shane up and Shane was right there on ****ing queue.... Somebody slid him some side cash. Kellerman just ignored the ****ing fight that just happened asked a ****ing question and then started talking right over Floyd when he started to give an answer. Tried to diss Floyd for plugging a sponsor in Reebok(everybody plugs). It was a ***** ass Kanye move by Shane and company. But if it makes the fight happen. So be it.
I like what they did, I know many other Mayweather fans might not but I did appreciate it. They have to do that to encourage the best fights. You think Ali didn't find a lot of motivation from the criticism Howard Cosell gave him?, these guys need stuff like that to build that fire that PUSHES them to major fights and fights that would make them shut critics up. You think the criticism Hopkins got before fighting Pavlik, Tarver, Wright and Calzaghe didn't PUSH him to prove them wrong?. That's where A LOT of the motivation comes from. If everyone tells him "you beat all" where's the excitement and motivation?, these guys NEED that.
Most of what you say is true, Mayweather was masterful vs JMM & is 100% without question the best fighter of the past 10 yrs, he gets a raw deal from the fans but he shouldnt, the man is a fantastic fighter & only a proper dumbass or grade A troll would dispute that ****. Great performance vs JMM.
Welcome to reality, at last you get it. Floyd has nothing to prove. It doesn't really matter who he fights and defeats. Those who hate on Floyd simply want to see him lose. They will never give him the credit he deserves.
Floyd does only fight against guys he knows he can beat and guys who can't hurt him... Therefore, he fights everyone whose anyone because he can whoop all their asses.. Kellerman is worhtless. Jim Lampley should've been down doing the interviewing in the place of Merchant. I mean who the hell is Max Kellerman and why does what he say mean anything at all? On top of it he ruins an exciting one-on-one confrontation between Shane and Floyd by jumping in the middle and crying about getting his face time... he's a joker... BRING BACK "BIG" George or Roy.. lets have more credibility from these commentators hence actual all-time great fighters.
Indeed Marquez was the number 2 P4P ranked fighter....but you can not be so quick to disregard and ignore the fact that he is naturally 2/3 weight divisions smaller than him. Furthermore he's 36 years old, a fighter of that age can't afford to jump two weight divisions without giving up major advantages (including speed, strength, power and endurance). Also keep in mind that the initial agreed catchweight of 144 pounds was the only thing Marquez had going his way, take that away, and the poor guy is pissing in the wind. In regards to him giving Manny all he could handle......that was in the lower weight divisions where Marquez was at his best, and Pacquiao was weight drained (and relatively green). Don't let those performances decieve you in to thinking Marquez will easily be able to cut it at the welterweight limit. Last night obviously showed you that he can't. Finally with Max Kellerman......he had every right to ask those questions (weight issue), because Floyd and his team duped us (the public) in to thinking it was a 144 pound bout. It was his duty to answer the questions, but unfortunately being the ******* he can be, he dodged the issue. Remember, Max Kellerman works for the company that televises Mayweathers fights and pays him hefty amounts of money....they've got every right to ask the questions that their viewers want answering
I agree Kellerman is a clown as someone else said, but Floyd did handpick Marquez who really has not fought great since 130 pounds, which is 3 divisions below Floyd's. He could have picked a better opponent or a bigger guy, but he picked a guy made for him. Believe me, had he fought Margarito it would not have been a cakewalk. This guy was made for him and JMM has always been a little overrated. He fought many great guys when they were at tail ends of careers or too long at certain weights.
Dickhead ! .... Kellerman did a **** job and after Floyd just beat one of the best fighters in the world with consumate ease all he was bothered about was weight and money ! ...GET A GRIP U TWAT ! .... Floyds performance even be it against a guy who was fighting above his weight was superb .. his counterpunching speed was amazing to watch and superior defence - i wish i could box 10% of that skill and quality .....brilliant from money mayweather and welcome back weve missed you !
You said it right what an embarassment Kellerman was,Floyd had a flawless performance and trying to pour dust on it was stupid at the worst. As for Shane Mosley the guy is classless,I used to be a fan of his but he better learn some manners.
