On the Road to Donaire-Rigondeaux, Max Kellerman said:

Strong words from Kellerman and I agree with him, Donaire is fighting the best he can possibly fight. In an era where all the top boxers refuse to fight each, it's great to see Donaire not duck anyone and put his legacy on the line for us fans so we can watch the best fight we could possibly see.

Where does the winner to from here??
Obviously if Rigo wins Bobby makes a rematch but what IF Donaire wins?

If Rigondeaux wins they will have a rematch because it would make the most money for both of them. If Donaire wins he's moving up to 126 to fight Chris John in Macau or either Jhonny Gonzalez or Juan Lopez. He will not fight Mares or Ponce De Leon because of the promoter and now network beef. He will also not fight Mikey Garcia and Gradovich because they all have same trainer. If Donaire shows great stuff at 126 expect him to move up to 130 quickly to destroy that weak division and have a mega-fight with 50 Cent's Gamboa.

if Rigondeaux wins, and Donaire discovers what Rigondeaux is made of, he will not want any other piece of him and force any other business with him ....

I actually cannot wait for this fight. Absolutely amazed it's come off. Donaire has jumped into the division and beat every belt holder 1 by 1 rigo is all that's left standing.

I think if Donaire wins he moves up and takes on the best featherweight has to offer.

It's going to be shown live on HBO's World Championship Boxing at 5PM Hawaii Time, 8PM Pacific Time, 10PM Central Time and 11PM Eastern Time on Saturday night April 13. The fight is free and you don't have to pay so nobody has an excuse for not watching it.

I'd imagine they'll just interview rigo about the ko and his future in the sport.
