manny steward after Pac knocked out miguel cotto "I have to call this man a ATG now From 122 pounds all the way up to welterweight now he has been fighting the best and performing at a high level and he has never ducked anyone i never known a fighter to do this unbelievable"
manny ducked needles/blood tests, made jmm wait for rematches because he was worried and made Floyd wait like 6 years before being ready to cash out other than that he was a warrior
I don't think that he ever ducked anyone, but he could have fought harder fights the last few years like Thurman, Khan, and Brook, instead of Rios, Algieri and this third Bradley fight. Other than that, he's been pretty exemplary, especially in his early career Marquez, Morales, Barrera, De La Hoya, Cotto, Mosley, Margarito, etc.
He ducked Paul Williams, Martinez said he would come down to 150 to fight him... And ducked Mosley after he fought margarito. It's arguable he ducked a very hot Berto at the time when he was undefeated. I don't care what any pac fan has to say about ortiz.
The thing with pac, and people starting realizing this after he was dubbed the mexi-cutioner was...."Where's all the slick black fighters on his resume"? He avoided fighting slick fighters for a reason. May 2nd 2015 proved that.
No he only mandated ridiculous 'catchweight' demands. It cheapens the sport and those wins have an asterisk by them.
In a span of four fights he fought Barrera, Marquez and Morales. He's a complete legend. Unreal courage in taking on the very best. No Fear.
