Ya uysk was a fight i think joshua could and would have side stepped if allowed . but he looked at the chisora fight and thought he could do him. It was a,different uysk against Joshua
Wilder is a determined fighter with the heart of a champion and a genetically gifted ATG right hand. He started boxing late and his skills suck.
You can't teach stupid, joshua started boxing at a similar time and has better fundamentals and skill
Joshua fights like he's scared to get hit, while Wilder, win or lose, fights like a lion who wants to throw down. I guess you can't teach that either.
True but joshua fought like that until wlad put the fear of god into him, he wasn't the same fighter after that. Wilder fights like an idiot, he takes beatings for no reason, that's not what lions do, if it ain't competitive and you are just getting battered that's stupidity. We will see if wilder will still want to stick in there and take more beatings after that, he might be a broken man like joshua now
I think it time Deontay rethinks Deontay. he should strip back down to 218lbs & fight at the newly sanctioned Bridgerweight. He could likely make another Run at a championship. he is slow & pathetically gassed at 238lbs.
i don’t know I think it would be smart. He ain’t beating any of the Super Heavies. Lennox lewis, Klitchco Bros, Fury & even Joshua. (Although I could see wilder beating him) are in different leagues. only Usyk’s supreme boxing skills were able to unthrone the behemoth.(& Ruiz in the 1st fight against AJ) let the little big men do their thing against there own sized fighters. it ain’t right pitting men with a 30-40lb weight advantage against much smaller men.
We'll see. However the main problem Is that will be difficult to compare HWs of the past with actual. According to the rules of the new division today Ali would be the best bridgerweight ever. Total nonsense.
