You consider AngloSaxon a superb poster? ...I'm frothing at the mouth.

I don't agree with his politics, but the man knows his boxing. He was also ducked by Glass Jaw Charlie Zelenoff, despite the fact that Anglo was willing to sail to the USA as he has a fear of flying. I doff my cap at such dedication and bravery.

margarito will look bad the first few rounds and then warm up and start to track garcia down. hes obviously not going to be at his best athletically anymore(hercules kyvelos, golden johnson, first cintron fight). Honestly Margarito had some pretty damaging uppercuts for being so tall he could get some damn good leverage with those long arms

I think Margo Left a peice of himself in that Cotto fight. And I think he was cheating all a long. But most importantly I think Mosley has ruined him. I've re-watched that fight sooo many times and everytime I'm left with the same feeling. That no man can take a beating like that and be the same afterwards.

No. Margarito was at the top of his career. He'd never been so relevant as after stopping Cotto. The thesis of this threads just fails. Margarito tried to cheat because cheating was routine to him. Nothing else make sense.

Not worse than haters who made up their mind the minute Lampley announced this on TV. It probably suit your agenda.

By the way, You've never seen me mention he was innocent.

Suits my agenda? He was caught cheating. That's a fact and is all there is to it. Agenda or no agenda, he tried to enter a professional boxing match with loaded handwraps.

Most people aren't genuinely familiar with Margarito's career. He's always been slow, but over the last several years he's gone to rigor mortis. He's clearly been in heavy decline. Watch the Diaz fight from 2002, then watch Cintron II from 2008. It's overtly apparent. People act like these guys that block punches with their faces for a living aren't human. Librado Andrade is ****ing toast too. ****. It happens. It happened.

Let me guess... you're a fan? Since 1999 Margarito has only won one fight on the cards. Every fight has ended by knockout except the debatable win against Clottey. Sure he has a chin. Sure he has stamina. But he got to the top of the welterweight class for knocking dudes out; his skill leaves much to be desired.

It should be clear that no one knows how long he's used this plaster, thus any prior fight is put in question whether he used them or not. Shane Mosley commented that Cotto hit him much harder than Margarito ever did. Maybe alot of his power was tied to the plaster? Similar to Tito Trinidad(who perhaps contrarily already had a great deal of power) and his questionable wraps? Margarito has never had one punch KO power, which also adds to the suspicion that the accumulation of plaster shots eventually took their toll on opponents. Maybe that was the perfect compliment to the attributes he did have, which were/are heart, chin and stamina.

I am curious. Has the California commission ever come out and say what exactly the substance was? I admit to not following the situation as closely as most others but the more I read and watch the more I get a little confused as there seems to be conflicting reports on the substance. I'm just curious if they've ever confirmed what it is?
