Answer? You don't cheat on the biggest fight of your career unless you think you can get away with it. Margo felt at this level he could cheat without consequence. That alone shows you that the guy did it before AND probably on this level. Point blank.

I enjoyed the guy fighting, but that is the worst offense in the game. It hurt to see him go, but wow man.

Nobody knows whether or not Margo loaded the gloves for Cotto. What we do know is Cotto has been hurt several times and it's not inconceivable that the gloves weren't loaded or that they were. We do know it's the first time Cotto was stopped, that his face was far worse than it had previously been and that he's stated he feels he was cheated. We also know that the Pac beating doesn't necessarily mean the Margo beating wasn't from loaded gloves as that beating was AFTER his face had taken that amount of damage. Nobody will ever know unless Margarito were to confess to something as denying it would as meaningless proof-wise as Cotto suggesting it. I picked Margarito to beat Cotto incidentally. I thought it would go like that. Battle of chins. Cotto beats the **** out of Margarito in the first half and Margo slowly takes over in the second. That's what happened. Although I didn't think Cotto would box so beautifully off the ropes or see him get grazing shots from Margo that seemed to really damage him. That was suspect to me. He was getting marked before Margo started to really land flush on him. It did in hindsight look like he was hurting Cotto too much with too little and slowed him down...then the real ass whooping began and he practically couldn't miss him from what I remember.

The results of the Pacquiao fight have dispelled almost entirely the idea that Cotto could have sustained 10+ rounds of "concrete wraps" from a big strong fighter like Antonio Margarito for alot of people. Objectively, Cotto's punch resistance has always been such that it was always fairly laughable to begin with. Margarito can't put a dent in Paul Williams, Sergio Martinez can, but he needs plaster casts to **** up Cotto? I'm not that foolish. Never was.

I want to know where were the corner man for his opponent? They are suppose to witness the wrap and if the hand is wrapped prior to them being there then demand a re-wrap. WTF is wrong with some of these corners. I still can't believe it took Naseem to bust him.

And I bet you were one of those people who said Tito used illegal hand wraps against Vargas but now that one of your favorite fighters was caught with illegal wraps you want to ridicule others who don't agree with you.

To be honest i think Margarito would beat Cotto again if they fought again. The problem in the first fight was thats the first time Cotto was not the aggressor but the person defending the entire time. He did good for first 6 rounds but couldn't stand the pressure, plus his defense is poor and had no stamina in the laters rounds. We don't know Margarito cheated or not but it does raise eyebrows since he got caught in the Mosley Fight.

Of course, MAYBE Margarito would've won, maybe not.

We don't know for sure if he loaded up in that fight, and if he did, how much extra effect it had on Cotto.

Cotto's had other fights in the past (Abdulleav, Ndou) where was largely on the backfoot.

As Steward said, pressure from a bigger, taller fighter is different. Margarito also has insane stamina, chin, workrate, and throws from all different angles (even when his feet are not set).

Cotto's face gets marked up from legal gloves anyway. Again, whether Margarito loaded up for this fight and how much extra effect it had we don't know. I personally think if he didn't load for this one, he did for other fights prior to Mosley.

Maybe, maybe not. Maybe he was loaded for Cotto, maybe not. Some previous fights?....All of them? I don't know. What I do know is that he hasn't earned the benefit of the doubt. He has, however, earned everyone's suspicions toward him. Suspicions about his boxing ability, his sportsmanship, his manhood, his professionalism, his ethics, his morality.

Why, yes, I have. That was a paragraph that I wrote with the assumption that anyone who can read will not be overwhelmed by it and think it's just a big wall of confusing text with no pictures like the pop-up books they probably are accustomed to. Now, have you ever heard of a half-witted moron with no attention span, above average irritability and poor reading comprehension?

...Oh, wait. That must have looked like too many words in a row for you. Try this:

    "Why, yes, I have.
