well you enjoy your slugfest between two brain dead morons then. if i wanna see what these two plan to serve up in the ring i'll go watch it for free out on the town on a saturday night, bound to be tons of drunken fools smashing the **** out of each other.
Hahaha...if you honestly believe that, then I just pity you for being a "brain dead moron"... I never said that these 2 are the ultimate pugilists, but they aren't as you describe either. They could still beat 99% of fighters out there, and matched up with one another make for an intriguing fight. In the meantime, you have a pic up showing your boy Calzaghe...At least Vargas and Mayorga have fought a REAL champion. At least they have stepped up to the plate like men, and fought great fighters. Calzaghe sits at 168 fighting one bum after another, while only fighting in his backyard. Say what you will, but at least these guys have balls. Calzaghe could've made legitimate attempts over the last 10 years to secure a fight with someone of note, and he has failed to do so. Kessler made a name for himself fighting the same kind of bums that Calzaghe fought, and Lacy was just a typical American power punching hype job. So don't talk trash about 2 guys who will fight anyone anywhere, then bow to the throne of a bum who hasn't fought anyone. I respect people who want to fight the best, and step into the ring and go toe to toe with the best. Mayorga took out Forrest at his prime weight, after Forrest beat Mosley. Calzaghe fights those guys that you call "drunken fools". You would probably see many of Calzaghe's opponents at your local pub having arm wrestling competitions. So before you talk trash, know what you're talking about. Sometimes a brawler who fights the best, and occasionally beats them (Mayorga), is a lot more respectable than a good fighter who refuses to take chances...Think about it.:hi:
I think Vargas is going to surprise a lot of people. I'm shocked that the poll has Mayorga up so high....thought it would have been a little closer then 80/20 in his favor.
this is on PPV in the states right? nice to see you bending over for boxing once again. no doubt you'll go blow more money on jones-tito too.
No, we'll pay money for your boy Calzaghe to fight some former teacher turned boxer. Good call! :good
well... to some fans, the point of watching boxing is about watching a good fun fight... which i bet both will be.
Both are past it but Vargas is tyhe younger guy and the better technical fighter and throws shorter punches. Both have little power above 154 so it will be a stoppage. Its a matter of who has the most left.
