The numbers do not support 50/50. Later on down the timeline Richard, Oscar, and Al offered Bob the opportunity to send the books to a 3rd party accounting firm and said if Manny really was worth 50% then the numbers would reflect that.

Bob turned it down.

Why would Bob turn down something that is productive in making the fight? I believe it's because he knows the books would expose Manny's position for 50/50 and even 55/45 now.
