Floyd had two stoppages in his three fights at 140. In the other fight he scored two KD's. He TKO'd Mitchell at 147, anfd his punches were doing alot of damage to Judah. The only two fights above 135 where his punches weren't really hurting his opponents were against Baldo and DLH.
Castillo did not look shot in the Hatton fight though. In fact, he was very competitve and looked dangerous with bodyshots and uppercuts in round 3. He was just taken out by a perfect punch in round 4.
My facts are straight. He fought Herman Nodojo or whatever his name is and BARELY won and looked horrible in the process that's a FACT. Whoopty do he won his last 2 fights.. Against WHO?? They werent even televised on a major network, I think one was on some spanish channel.. The facts are Mayweather fought a PRIME Castillo and Hatton fought a washed up Castillo who was working for free that night. :good
This content is protected dangerous.. I know you can't be serious. He was barely able to even stand by himself he was wobbling before he even got hit by a punch :rofl
I'm wondering what kind of power Floyd really has. Personally I wouldn't under rate it, but apparently Hatton's punch was recently tested and found to be over half a ton P/S/I. I don't think Floyd has that kind of power, but I'd love to know if his punch has been measured. Regardless, these guys are two entirely different kinds of fighter.
Castillo was shot, is shot, and isn't ever going to be elite again. He was lucky to get the decision against Ngoudjo, and had no legs, speed, or pop against Hatton. If you think he looked competitive I suggest you rewatch that fight. Also, comparing Hattons wins over Pep and Castillo to the way Floyd beat them YEARS prior has no bearing.
I agree. I don't think Kostya looked shot either. He said himself that he was in fantastic shape and how "the KT of 35 would easily defeat the KT of 25." I may not have gotten it word perfect, but you get the point. Did I hear somewhere that Castillo said, after fighting RH, he'd never been hit as hard in his life? EDIT: Bad punctuation.
