  2. This is nothing less than a resounding victory for Team Pacquiao. Why do you think the terms aren't being disclosed? It's because Mayweather is SETTLING with Pacquiao.

If Pacquiao was guilty, he would have lost the suit. Chances are very likely that Pacquiao submitted every documented medical record and cleared his name. Oscar and GBP both buckled, and publicly apologized.

So you mean Mayweathers defense was beaten by Pacquiao's offense?

Both have dropped their suits (Pacquiao's claim and Mayweather's counter claim) and both have agreed to pay their own costs.

Hopefully common sense has come through and they've agreed to drop this to get the fight made.

Any news on the counter lawsuit Mayweather filed? Only pussies file lawsuits and Floyd just as big a ***** as Pac for filing a counter lawsuit against Pacquiao.

I'm getting sick of grown ass men in America who settle things in a civilzed manner. Pacquiao and Floyd should have settled their beef in a high school parking lot like real men after school

Great....."confidentiality" is a good sign.....means they settled this out of court so Floyd may be agreeing to face Pac after all.

Better late than never.....fight is past its expiration date but it doesn't smell funny, yet.

Dropping that would also be part of the settlement. The sum Floyd paid to Manny was undisclosed, so we'll never know what it is unless someone blabs.

Here's the statement issued on behalf of the Mayweathers over at the scene:

Judge Daniel H. Weinstein (ret.):, the Mediator in the Nevada action EMMANUEL PACQUIAO v. FLOYD MAYWEATHER, JR and MAYWEATHER PROMOTIONS LLC, announces that the parties have settled the defamation lawsuit between themselves on confidential terms, and that Mayweather Jr. and Promotions have issued the following public statement:

“Floyd Mayweather Jr., Floyd Mayweather Sr., Roger Mayweather and Mayweather Promotions wish to make it clear that they never intended to claim that Manny Pacquiao has used or is using any performance enhancing drugs, nor are they aware of any evidence that Manny Pacquiao has used performance enhancing drugs. Manny Pacquiao is a great champion, and no one should construe any of our prior remarks as claiming that Manny Pacquiao has used performance enhancing drugs.”
