If this is a true source which it sounds like if it came from Boston Herald.

Thats the shittest list we as fans could hope for.

Floyd's giving himself options because at least half of that list will fail and get knocked off.

Maidana hasn't shown himself to be reliable and consistent. Same with Angulo.

We're unsure of Garcia can get pass Lucas.

Saul Alvarez will encounter a setback soon when Trout kicks his ass.

Devon Alexander? Floyd is trolling with this one

Floyd (most idiots actually) doesn't like admitting he's an idiot, but when it comes to finances/taxes he is an idiot. He thought he had all the money he would ever need and later found out he didn't know how to adminster his money. So he came back to get more money so once he finally retires he doesn't need to worry about money. Sadly, I think with his spending habits he'll probably be back fight for need of money. Anyway, if you look up some old threads from that time period you can find people on here laughing and making fun of his need of money and acknowledging that was his reason for returning to the fight game.

Well if he were to beat canelo and Sergio, he would then be a 6 division champ who's lineal in 5 divisions and undefeated. It would be kinda hard to keep him out of the top 10 ATG lists. But since it's not happening then I don't think he has the right to ***** about being unappreciated.

And what world-class opponents would you put him against instead?

Or maybe he should have a pentalogy against Ortiz? Where one guy keeps losing but they keep rematching hoping to get the result they wanted.

Alvarez the only one really that I see causing trouble for PBF and maybe Garcia the rest on the list need to be replaced with names like.

    Trout
    Pacquiao
    Bradley
    Brook
    Kirkland

    Angulo
    Maidana
    Alexander
behind all these guys that I named.

Realistically, the only fighters that could be on the list are 6 of the following:

Devon Alexander, Saul Alvarez, Alfredo Angulo, Cornelius Bundrage, Lara Erislandy, Danny Garcia, Robert Guerrero, Amir Khan, James Kirkland, Marcos Maidana, Lucas Matthysse, Lamont Peterson.

It's a shame that fans are consistently denied the fights they want to see but that's unfortunately the way it is. I'd love to see Mayweather/Martinez at 154 and I'm in the dying minority who still want to see Mayweather/Pac but I know these fights won't happen.

tbh, in terms of what can realistically be achieved, I'd be happy with a list of four that contained:

    Saul Alvarez
    Danny Garcia
    Robert Guerrero
    Lucas Matthysse

I'm actually surprised that Lucas Matthysse isn't on the rumoured list.

Rubbish, Cotto was shot by the time Floyd got to him and Floyd knew it. Floyd spent most of the promotion trying to build Cotto up :patsch
