I hope he doesnt fight Hatton again either. It'll look like a Gatti rematch. He will fight Cotto when he is ready to and on his terms. He learned that from Oscar. lol

How does it make any sense now that Floyd should wait? He obviously FELT he could beat Cotto, no? Floyds Super Bad is none Badder right?

Unfortunately Cotto still needs to be sold to places outside of the American continent. If I was to walk down the street here in Sydney I could ask 100 people who Cotto is and it's possible that not one person would know. That isn't the case for Dela Hoya and Mayweather so it makes perfect business sense to;

a) put the Cotto bout on hold until he destroys a few more opponents

b) have a rematch with Dela Hoya.

As for Cotto's fans in Pueto Rico, they aint going to make either fighter millions on their own. Get two great fighters together and promote them well and the cash flows in from not only America but all around the world, especially Asia, Australia, Europe and Kampachea....

um it was only a non challenge because he made them look that way.....I have never really seen Mayweather in a difficult fight....he controls the fight with his skills & ring generalship...he has the same problems RJJ had....he is just that much better than everyone else

I like Cotto dont get me wrong but I dont think Cotto will beat Mayweather. He gets hit to easily. Its one thing to bully an opponent who isnt hitting you back and its another thing tryna figure out should you cover up or swing when fighting someone like Mayweather

That's my biggest thing, people keep saying he's ducking Cotto when Arum hasn't made one attemp to make this fight happen. Arum hasn't offered Mayweather a fight with Cotto, and Cotto's not calling him out either.
