Oh, so you're an expert. That's comedy. Good job taking the time to type up that crap, worthless. Your false logic is nothing more than bull****. We can all see that. :deal

It's more logic than using Compubox.

Compubox= entertaining tool which proves little.

Now, tell me how Trinidad really landed 166 punches on De La Hoya. Tell me how De La Hoya landed 263 on Trinidad.

Tell me about these other shots Floyd landed on Oscar that makes the 200+ punches an accurate sum.

    My judgement of the fight..

Round 1 - Mayweather, I thought Mayweather came out relatively aggressive, landing nice, clean shots from long range.

    Round 2 - Mayweather

Round 3 - Mayweather, Castillo was catching him with some clean shots towards the end of the round, but Mayweather was actively landing more throughout the bulk of the round.

Round 4 - Castillo, he was starting to figure Floyd out at this point, blocking most of his pot-shots. He's started to pursue Floyd often, while catching him with good shots.

Round 5 - Castillo, pretty close round, but Castillo edged him in power shots, and overall just way more active, with Floyd pretty much just picking off one shot at a time, a lot of which weren't landing.

Round 6 - Castillo, big round for Castillo, he was constantly backing Floyd up against the ropes, landing nice shots, and Castillo was throwing more body shots in this round.

Round 7 - Castillo, again, just too aggressive, with too many big shots landing, even when they were in the center of the ring ( which Lampley kept insisting was Mayweathers territory ) Floyd wasn't throwing much.

Round 8 - Even, I had Castillo winning this one slightly, but the point deduction evens it up.

Round 9 - Floyd, he looked pretty sharp for this round, and was avoiding Castillo's shots pretty well.

Round 10 - even, Floyd was still eluding Castillo's shots pretty well, but the point deduction evened this one up as well.

    Round 11 - Castillo

    Round 12 - Castillo

I think Castillo's trainer did a good job telling him to go more to the body with Floyd, that's where Castillo was out-scoring him a lot. He was also blocking Floyd's pot-shots effectively, as well. So, in conclusion...

    6-4-2 for Castillo.

You can't? Well in that respect, Floyd has more than one gift W on his record then, doesn't he?

.... De La Hoya, maybe? Or how about the Mayweather-Castillo rematch?

Head shots or body shots make no difference, point being.. Castillo outlanded Mayweather.

It's nonsense to say that.. " You can't go to the body the whole 12 rounds and expect to get a decision "

If what you said was even true ( which it isn't ), are you actually suggesting that punches to the face are, for whatever reason, more " meaningful " than punches to the body? If that was the case, then punches to the body shouldn't even be allowed in the sport if you can't rack up points doing so.

Fact of the matter is.. Head shots AND body shots = points. The body or head is hard to hit depending on the fighter.

And as I've said, what you're saying isn't even true, neither Floyd OR Castillo were exclusive to hitting JUST the head or body. You mean to actually tell me Floyd wasn't pot-shotting Castillo, or Castillo wasn't hitting Mayweather in the head at all?

I'd suggest you do the same thing and take the time out to realize what you're saying here.

Oh, you mean you want me to trash your quote in full? Alrighty..

Your theory of head shots meaning more than body shots is absolutely moronic, especially considering the wins that Floyd has taken by merely pot-shotting 85% of the time.

And as long as we're going to get philisophical on the subject, I can make the arguement that Floyd wasn't challenging the champion enough to take his title. I mean, after all.. everyone always says how you have to convincingly defeat a champion in order to take his title, right? Larry Merchant even commented how Castillo was " a champion fighting like a challenger " ( which I agree with ), but I'll have to say the exact opposite about Floyd. He was high-tailing it like HIS title was on the line, as if Castillo had to take the fight from HIM.

See? I can split hairs just as well as you can.

Castillio won the first fight pretty clearly in my view. Give Floyd credit for winning the rematch no matter how unexciting it might have been. :good

Doesn't change the fact that Castillio should have the victory on his record.

I scored the fight 7-5 PBF. Very close fight could have gone either way and I can see how some people had Castillo wining. BTW Castillo said in and interview that he wants to get revenge against PBF once he gets past Hatton.

No, they didn't, but Castillo DID outland Mayweather. Whether Castillo outlanded him to the body or the head, he ****ing OUT-LANDED him.

Try going to a Miguel Cotto thread and saying something as stupid as " head punches mean more than body punches ". :rofl
