Things are getting a bit messy as expected. I don't see any fight on the horizon for anyone at showtime with the exception of Alvarez/Lara card. We're going to have a bit of a fallout and a lot of inactive fighters before the dust settles. This will hurt everyone involved, including Showtime, Golden Boy, Mayweather, Haymon and all the fighters he's advising.
Mayweather has just alienated himself from working with two of the biggest promotional companies in the sport. I hope his PPV numbers take a steep hit.
Golden Boy will very shortly no longer be one of the biggest promotional companies in the sport. Lara already said he's also done with them, and he'll be making the biggest remaining GBP attraction look silly on the way out.
So, is TMT going to be a real thing now instead of just an idea? Inb4 most of the GBP dickriders jump ship for some mysterious reason.
