Canelo was ready to get pounded after that uppercut. Im not saying Mayweather would've stopped him gurantee but Canelo layed on the ropes to get pounded. Mayweather from that Gatti fight would've unloaded on him. thats why this fight cant be like Mayweather-Gatti

Totally agree! It's all about fighting smart and not being reckless which Floyd does well. And it takes tons of heart just to get in the ring and fight something that more than a handfull of the fans on these threads fail to realize. And while I'm somewhat inclined to believe the title of article we all have to believe that this fight will definitely go more than six rounds.

Floyd tko's Maidana in either 10th or 11th round due to fatiguing on Marco's part.

Mayweather won't batter him as bad as he did Gatti(RIP) because Mayweather can't fight like that anymore at 37. This fight will be more like the Guerrero fight.

Floyd has lost that bounce and hasn't looked AS GOOD since then. He could embarrass Maidana like he did against Marquez but even that was 5 years ago and I don't think Floyd is as good as he was back then. He has a long lay off, was fresher and JMM had been in some tough battles. Maidana is a lot bigger, Floyd is alot older but things even out.

Still, Floyd wins comprehensively but Maidana troubles him early on.
