Baldomir was a bum. PBF did not fight the elite of the welterweight division and nobody in his right mind disputes that.PBF can fight them now but he prefers to stay retired. With that attitude he won't make the top 50 ATG list.

PBF has great accomplishments under 147 but he has yet to face the best weltêrweights.

Floyd has something to prove at welterweight, but if he was to beat Mosley then we can say he has nothing else to prove, because at this moment Shane IS the best welterweight IMO because of what he did to Margarito, and a fight between them is long overdue. As of now, IMO Floyd is probably around top 25ish on an all time great status but a win over Shane right now while hes hot and with a title, could move him up a few slots.

Carlos was a bum?? At that time Carlos was the lineal champ at 147 and held onto the WBC belt..everyone know Floyd was loyal to the WBC...FLOYD CALLED FOR A FIGHT WITH SHANE IF YOU DON'T REMEMBER?? SHANE SAID HE HAD A TOOTHACHE AND A VACATION TO TAKE...Tony is the bum...I'd favor Carlos over Tony at 147...Not sure if you had an account on here when Floyd fought Carlos and even Oscar but there was plenty of Floyd haters sayin Baldomir was to big and Oscar was the best Floyd ever fought and all this ****...after the fight there was excuses for the Oscar fight and Baldomir was a bum fighter..funny how before the fight, PBF's opponents are to big or whatever and after the fights his opponents are "bums"...who else was there to fight since he couldn't get the Mosley fight (and dont say Tony)..Cotto hadn't moved up yet...Williams wasn't known..Clottey was fighting Tony 12/06 and wasn't very well known...ur fault:bbb

YOU STILL DIDN'T ANSWER MY QUESTION..WHY DO MOST HAVE FLOYD TOP 50 ATG?? YOUR FAULT..TAKE NOTES:deal

No he doesnt, and beating those 2 dont make him a great ww. With 5-6 fights at the weight you cant possibly be considered a great for that weight class.

The last posts clearly show why forums like these lose more and more credibility.

Just biased fans who are not critical at to any acts of to their favourite boxer. It seems that they have lost the sense of reality claiming among others that:

    - Baldomir is a great fighter
    - PBF beats the great Roberto Duran
    - there is no question that PBF makes the TOP 50 ATG list
    - Mayweather has nothing else to prove
    - a victory over the elite welterweights would no add to his legacy
    - Mayweather is an on the verge of making the TOP 10 ATG

Sorry, but I clearly have lost interest in a discussion which lacks any objectivity and knowledge.

For my part, I am a supporter of JT but I am also critical to his weight issues, stereoid abuse neither am I claiming that JT beats Marvin Hagler.

In all honesty anyone that has only 39 fights and compares himself to SRR has to prove himself to me....SRR fought anyone and everyone and never even hesitated to prove his toughness and greatness.Floyds biggest downfall will be his reluctance to "BE" great instaed of just talking great like he does now.I do not deny his skill but i dont deny his reluctance either.

Cotto is NOT an option, unless you're stupid enough to add him there. Sorry but a man who got brutalized against Margarito, who also got brutalized recently, aren't guys that you can mention as elite opposition till both avenge their defeats. Cotto has one, Margarito has six.

Mosley is a name worth mentioning though way past his prime and Williams is also a name worth mentioning. Guys like Pacquiao are also worth mentioning as possible opponents.

A win over Mosley won't add that much because Mosley is WAY past his prime despite his one-sided victory over a one-dimensional fraud recently. A win over Williams will add a lot but even that a few ******s will find a way to discredit and I'm sure you know who they are. :smoke

You can kiss Doug's ass all night, fact is you're mentioning a guy who is a proven Margarito nut licker. So being biased there is a given if it's benificial to Margarito who will end all the articles and praisals in the world after a one-sided ass raping like that.
