WHAT??? It's arguably the BEST DIVISION in Boxing! These fighters are in constant wars with eachother, except of course PBF who took a hiatus while these monsters went after each other! What a joke.

Stick to comedy Ben. Cotto went 12 ROUNDS with Clottey and 9 with a CUT over his EYE! Name me 1 fighter who's looked good against Clottey?? His defense is serious ask Margo. Come Nov. 14 ?? Can you see Pac KO'ing Cotto at all?? Mosley couldn't do it, Clottey couldn't, and MARGO TOOK 11 ROUNDS in arguably Wrapped GLOVES to take him out! Read what Freddie said about the upcoming Fight homeboy.
Cotto a tough nut to crack, says Roach

Freddie Roach doesn’t want Manny Pacquiao to have the illusion that Puerto Rican Miguel Cotto is just going to roll over and die on November 14.
While most ringsiders see Cotto as being slow-footed and easy-to-hit, Roach sees something that makes him truly a livewire opponent.
Roach said people may have forgotten that Cotto holds a huge win over one of boxing’s toughest and trickiest fighters in Shane Mosley, who, like Pacquiao is quick on his feet and punches in bunches.
“Cotto beat Mosley,” said Roach, sounding a bit puzzled over claims being peddled that Pacquiao would have an easy time disposing of Cotto when they square off at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
Cotto bested Mosley when they fought in November 2007.
“This is going to be Manny’s toughest fight,” said Roach, who wants to set up training camp in Toluca, Mexico, to ensure that Pacquiao stays focused in the runup to Cotto.
The fight will be at 145 lbs and Cotto’s coveted World Boxing Organization welterweight crown will be on the line.
Despite an apparent slide in Cotto’s performance the past year, Roach remains a believer that Cotto still has a lot of championship juice left in his tank.
Cotto has started training in Puerto Rico under the strict supervision of head trainer Joe Santiago and strength coach Phil Landman.
Pacquiao hasn’t started his as the Filipino is still busy fulfilling all his showbiz commitments and is scheduled to report to the gym in mid-September which will officially kick off his eight-week training camp.

How bout this ? This thread is unimpressive. Haters will never stop. Floyd is an ATG HOFer whether you or anyone else likes it or not. It amazes me how this man stays on so many haters minds. Of all the boxers in the sport, he is the one mentioned the most. That is enough said in itself.

His resume is solid for his era, its not spectacular, but I think some underrates his resume on here.....

he did have a few too many bums in his prime, but still solid...

Void refused to fight Pac, Margarito, Cotto, Mosley, etc., but Pac is stepping up to the plate, something which Void refused to do.

You sure? after ricky made some guy roll around the floor like b-hop did oscar. I remeber them all being on espn roy jones and brian kenney trying to pic who on this long list is the best fight for Floyd. Stzu was second zab was 3rd and hatton was 1. That may be what im thinking about.
anyway brian wanted Floyd to fight zab and Roy said there is a guy named Ricky Hatton who just quit kosta Floyd should fight. But back then Floyd wont a welter I dont think. So long ago man

Even worse for pac resume then if oscar was shot when floyd got him because oscar couldnt even throw a jab against pac. I dont know how great ricky actually is but I felt he was apart of the Elite. Floyd felt he wasnt as floyd called him the worse boxer in the past 20years.
So yea in my opion it does makes pac resume looks better for beatin rick I just felt he wont the same after Floyd because he shoulda demolished paulie.
I feel the same bout anybody thats gonna beat cotto he just didnt look the same against clottey. I think the lost messed cotto up.
We will see if cotto moved on in the pac fight, if he gets desmolished then yea he mentally dead. If he puts up a good fight then I guess hes the same but either case I expect Pac to win against cotto but I wont be convinced until he fights shane or floyd

LOL what a horrible thread from a hater. This is just crazy! Chicagosown23 please look up some facts before writing this wack **** lol. I know because I made that thread about Pac's wins against MAB EM and JMM had you upset but damn all I stated was facts. He beat EM after his prime and when Morales was coming off a loss and down in weight LOL. He hasn't beat JMM clearly yet. 1 win if you want to call it that and a draw after knocking the man down 3 times lol. MAB 1 great win. MAB 2 MAB coming off a loss so of course Pac wanted to fight him LOL. Stop posting crap here lol. What a horrible thread. I will make one today for this bull **** lol.

While Mayweather's resume post 140 is a little dry....his record below that weight is outstanding. Jesus Chavez is no joke, Emmanuel Augustus (a focused one at that) is no joke either, that's not even mentioning Chico who was a wrecking ball at the time, two big wins over a very tough JLC, Genaro Hernandez. Chop Chop Corley back then wasn't a complete laugher and Phillip N'Dou was another good name.

Floyd's resume is as underrated as his "trash talking ability" is overrated.

I am not saying that Flyod has fought complete trash but alot of ppl want to rank him ATG #40 or better and he simply doesnt have the resume to match a top 40 spot....once he fights a couple fighters on his level and in their prime I can agree with a top 40 spot but until then......

Who besides JMM has Pac faught in his prime that was elite and on his level. MAB 1 was the only time I have ever seen Pac beat a in his prime elite fighter. Morales wasn't in his prime and still beat Pac ass in the first match. Pac waited for him to lose and come back down in weight in case you forgot. Which fight with JMM did Pac dominate again I forgot?:huh
