    Clearly a tremendous fighter, disliked by most, and has yet to have a truly great win. The comparison is quite valid I think.

    mayweather doesnt fight the best, he is not entertaining, he has no class, he cant dance, sucka punches people...and i doubt he will fight over 50 times.

    Ali was possibly the most recognisable man on the planet when in his prime , spoke to the masses about his beliefs , was able to bring together people of all colours and nations, he also beat some of the best fighters of all time in Liston , Frazier and Foreman.

    Tell me how Mayweather has any of those attributes?

    Mayweather is disliked because frankly he is a ***** outside of the ring

    Ali, baited his opponents and was loud and brash, but was hated for being a dissenting voice, refusing to go to Vietnam, becoming a Muslim and being proud of both his skin colour and his faith

    Ironically, alot of reasons that Ali was hated at the time, are reasons that he has world wide admiration today.
