There are credible ranking systems but that is all subjective right? You said the man wasn't subjective at all. Didn't vitali beat sanders? That was 1 v 2 by a lot of rankings.
Going off naysayer's definition there isn't a traditional ww lineage worth following. However going off a more traditional definition there is a timeline on the cyberboxingzone website. It traces from duffy through to floyd. It has a couple of errors but by and large it follows an accepted lineal timeline.
Yes, ratings are subjective - which is why the top fighters are recognized as such by consensus. If enough people say you're #1 then you're #1. 1 + 1 = 2 Klitschko was coming off of a KO LOSS to Lewis and a win over a fat bloated Kirk Johnson. Tell me exactly WHY Klitschko should have been rated #1 or #2 in the world for having gotten himself knocked out and having beaten a beached whale. And even beyond that, Klitschko hadn't beaten a single HW of any notoriety since the Byrd KO LOSS. So, please explain exactly WHY Klitsschko should have been ranked so high when he fought Sanders...

I followed your definition and that's who you named. Your claim about oscar and mosley being consensus 1 and 2 is interesting. Which ww did mosley beat to earn a top 2 ranking? Who was it who ranked him in the top 2?
Sorry dude but my question came FIRST. You answer my question first then I'll be happy to answer yours.
That just happens to be the FACT of the matter. Didn't you say something about Cyberboxingzone.com earlier in this thread? Well, they just happen to list Erdei as the current LINEAR LHW champion. You got anything else, Einstein?
He's the champ, but not the best fighter. And I'm not sure how you gain a vacant lineal belt. I guess by unifying
