You know who also had early losses?

TONS OF WORLD CHAMPIONS. And they grew from it.

But you're just trying to apply your racism to boxing, so why respond?

floyd mayweather doesn't even watch boxing fights, so how the **** the guy have an opinion on how pacquiao performs?

the answer to that question is floyd is a liar, he's watched all the recent pacquiao fights and lives in denial.

THere are 100 excuses for ANY fighters "WINS". Floyd has a right to his opinion but if that is the case why is he now so concerned with Manny taking PEDs when ALL of his accomplishements were the cause of carefully chose opponents who all had factors working against them and in favor of PAC?

EM and MAB were over the hill...he beat DLH who was weight drained or shot, he beat Miguel who was also weight drained, hatton was stylistically made for a fighter like manny or he was shot b/c of his lose to Floyd.:patsch

If all that is true.....why be concerned and ask for Blood testing and show signs that he has reservations fighting a guy who is all hype and very good at tricking the boxing world in to thinking he's something that he is NOT?

For the record PAC is ahead of FLoyd for valid reasons and the fight between him and Floyd is a toss up. Both have qualities that are going to be an issue for both men....but based on Floyd's actions and showing signs he's concerned I have a feeling he knows that PAC would be his most difficult challenge and would rather avoid it altogether.

Like someone else said, Mayweather fights only for money and not legacy, so why is he concerned with all the accolades Pacquiao gets? Floyd is ass backwards in his logic sometimes...he thinks Pac gets those accolades by beating over the hill guys, yet he calls him "extraordinary" and demands unprecedented drug testing. I don't get it.

I think Cotto looked very good, but Pac just brutalized him like a machine, he eased past him like he have been doing with his last opponents,
while Mayweather has been semi-retired. Therefore even if Mayweather feels he's better for all the right reasons he have to prove it and do something similar to what Manny has been doing IMO.

cotto always would have trouble against high workrate fighters. cotto likes to box calmly, at a reasonable pace, what he can't do is compete against someone who's out punching him by a lot. those are the type of fighters cotto has problems with. i picked this one easily.

Yeah, but even if Cotto's style is suited for Pac his win and the fashion in which he achieved it can't be underrated.

You have nothing to say. This "quote" is from YEARS ago. Anyway, anyone who knows anything about boxing knows that Pac isn't the fighter of the decade. Who was he before he beat ODLH? Who? The PPV numbers tell the tale.

Floyd fought more primed fighters? get the **** out of here with that bull****..
Pacquiao has fought more prime fighters at the higher weight classes and stopped them and in common opponents Pacquiao did far better than did Floyd.
