If Berto looks good vs Ortiz, then why not?

If Berto dominates Ortiz then this fight would be legit. Although, we all know the outcome already.

Might happen,Shane and Oscar were friends,Ward and Gatti developed a friendship after their first fight so it could happen..

Berto gets his biggest payday fighting Floyd and has displayed interest in the past in fighting him..

what exactly does Mayweather get out of facing decent but not elite guys like this? This is like a team like the Miami Heat picking who they want to face in the NBA finals and picking a team like the Toronto Raptors. Why not pick the top guy? He can box Manny and he would box Berto instead? What is going on with Floyd?

    Another cherry pick, not surprised.

Zaveck was hitting Berto at will.

Who the **** do some of you want him to fight?

    Khan- Lost to Peterson/will rematch

    Canelo- Too green

    Cotto- Probably fighting Pac

    Bradley- Top Rank

Peterson- Has to rematch with Khan or vacate

I mean, who else is there other than Pac?

I've left out some other names due to the ridiculous fact that there are really no other challengers in the weight class, only bigger men.

I think he put all his eggs in the Pac basket and is scrambling to find a legit candidate.

Floyd scrambling to find an opponent for May 5th? That's the result of booking a date/venue without securing an opponent first. Floyd is the only one to blame (and he still has jailtime to serve).

What if Ortiz beats Berto again? Floyd will do a rematch with Ortiz on May 5th?
