i agree with you completely. it seems that people have fallen into thinking that because marquez stopped diaz, he shut him out. diaz really had his way in the early going and even in the tighter middle rounds, diaz was landing a lot of hard shots...i give marquez credit for persevering, but it was a costly fight either way. unlike a lot of marquez fans, and i like the guy and have for years, it seems pretty clear to me that he does not carry that additional weight as comfortably as he says he does. marquez looks to have lost a considerable amount of handspeed and upper body flexibility at lightweight, the feet are bound to turn to concrete at or around 145-pounds...and that is not a position worth exploring in against a naturally bigger, stronger hugely gited natural athlete like floyd mayweather.

 

Then I guess god is gay cause Marquez is a BOXING GOD!!!!

 

Dont underestimate Juan Manuel. Not long ago ppl were demanding floyd fight manny and considering most of us in here know juan beat manny then logically, marquez should have a good chance. Hes an exceptional boxer with bags of heart and tonnes of experience. Hel come mightally close to beating Floyd and will cause him huge problems. For once Floyds opponent wont be fighting in slow motion so this is gonna be tougher than expected.

I know Floyds the favourite once again, but i think itl be worth a flutter on Marquez down at the bookies. Roll on Hatton-Mayweather rematch baby!

 

You really can't count on "The Scene's" sorry ass site because they make up stories at times, and they don't compare to Eastside Boxing, but.... if Floyd agrees to fight at a catch weight, then that is on him. I just hate the idea that a boxer over 30 is coming DOWN in weight.

 

Floyd Will beat Marquez more convincly then Manny beat Marquez

 

Of course is not looking good. at his age going up in weight like that!!!! But we all know Floyd doesn't like fair fights.

Yeah, and we can see it now. If Marquez loses, he's had a glass jaw since the Norwood fight, and if Floyd loses, he's had a glass jaw since the Corley fght lol. You usually pick the glass jaw guys when they turn 35...right. Well, J.M.M qualify lol. Oh, I forgot, guys can hide their glass jaw for years if they don't fight top comp lol. This would be a big mistake for JMM IMO. PBF is going to beat him.
