Catchweights are a joke. Hopkins exploited catchweights to fight smaller guys in Pavlik and Winky. So did Roy Jones in Tito. PBF's ideal weight might actually BE about 143 and NOT 147. It would be his perfect weight. JMM would be ballooned up and will get toasted by PBF.

There are obviously bigger risks out there, but we know by now that Floyd isn't a risk taker. He's not going to become one on the far side of thirty after a year out of the ring. I just can't jump all over him for this one though. Floyd obviously will win the Pacman sweepstakes if Manny beats Hatton, so his "campaign" at 147 is effectively over. Beating Marquez convincingly puts him inside of the JMM - Pacquiao rivalry, building an obvious storyline for the Pacquiao fight. And although I've laughed my ass off at the "murderers row" of Gatti/ Mitchell/ Baldomir/ Judah, he's lining up the undisputed P4P #2 here. That alone means there is more risk here than he usually takes. If he blasts Marquez, it's largely because he's that damned good.
