Mayweather/McGregor Fight Discussion

GTFOH! Mayweather's legacy would have been tainted if he had lost to Pac. This fight is a just a circus freak show to fleece suckers out of their money.

The whole thing looked staged to me. I only watched clips on YouTube.

 

Not every boxers all MMA fighters. This is truly a sad post. Sad.

 

I wonder if there's a penalty in the contract for intentionally getting disqualified in the fight...if there's not, I honestly wouldn't be all that surprised to see Conor decide to just take this to the ground after a few rounds and see how much damage he can inflict on Floyd before the referee and/or security steps in to stop him. After all, we know a huge percentage of the audience is tuning in to see Floyd finally lose and/or have someone shut him up - since McGregor won't be able to do that in a boxing ring, he might at least be able to "put Floyd in his place" in the eyes of his fans by inflicting an injury. It would be a pretty dirty tactic, and while I'm not saying I condone it, I also wouldn't be surprised to see it happen if Conor's doing as poorly as I expect him to do (and doesn't get knocked out by Floyd early).

 

McGregor is already falling into the trap. He's taking a lot of it personal.

 

It makes no difference. He never had a shot to beat Floyd anyway.

 

Floyd won't take risks... Not even against an MMA guy in a boxing ring in a boxing match.

 

I defo will not. I've never watched Floyd-Berto either. I WILL watch Floyd-Mcgregor ONCE on youtube IF lightening strikes and Mcgregor gets the KO, and then of course I'll watch all the gifs and slow-mos of the KO several thousand times, but if not, I will never watch this fight.

 

I have a sneaking suspicion that Connor is about to bully mayweather into making a mistake and brutalise him. Yes you can 'YDSAB' me.. But I don't care lol this fight isn't going to be the one sided glorified sparring session you all think it is. Elite MMA fighters aren't mugs when it comes to striking. I want to have sex with a Leopard.

 

Floyd will carry him. Whether that leads to a late TKO or miles wide UD is the only question in my book.

Either way, Floyd at -550 is free money.

 

Agreed. I couldnt be bothered to ever watch Berto-Mayweather either...like whats the point.

Same with this fight. If something interesting happens I may watch on youtube after it happens, but to pay 100 bucks for something a bit silly and predictable? I see zero value in McConnor-Mayweather.
