People are underestimating McGregor due to lack of experience and overestimating Floyd as though he is still in his prime.

People keep saying "He's not a boxer"

well he knows how to throw punches doesn't he? Isin't that what boxing is...

Mayweather is a great boxer though and should win by points, or if not they judges can give it to him anyways.

The problem is that Fluid doesn't age naturally because he's seriously on PEDs. Athletes that don't seem to age... well there's no beating father time or is there?

As if two years would make you go from the best boxer (in his division atleast) to loosing on points to a debutante?

And boxing is not just about punching, it is, especially in Mayweathers case, about not getting punched.

That's a good point. He might be able to significantly compensate for aging via using steroids.

McGregor has never had a pro boxing match. Mayweather could win this with his eyes closed. It's a farce. Entertainment for the casuals.

All it would take is CM to actually get hold of Mayweather, any sort of grip and he would be done, bye bye, lights out.

Understandable that he wants to make easy money by joining the Mayweather circus.

The only way i think he can have a slim chance to win is (not counting injury stoppage or such) is to pull a Salido. Disregard the weight limit and hope that he can somehow get an advantage.

I dont know how thier contract is, maybe that hinders this tactic (by costing to much money), but I can see this hyped fight get cancelled the day before because of the weight. Connor also doesn't have a belt or a standing to uphold in the boxing world, so that doesnt stand in the way. Only problem is that hed probably need to be a heavy weight to beat Mayweather...

I would see your point if Maywheather were fighting a decent boxer, Jeff Horn, Adrian Granados, Ponomarev... for example, but he is fighting a novice in boxing, he has no chance, Mcgregor knows as much as me about boxing technique, and Maywheather is a master of boxing, just because Conor is bigger and younger doesnt mean that he has a chance.I m younger and bigger than Messi and I cant see me playing football better than him

At the end of the day it's two blokes having a fight. Of course he has a chance. Like 1% chance but a chance nonetheless

I would like that boxing would seems more to individuals sports like tennis where the best compete with the best and casuals wants to see the same match as hardcore fans do. May and Pac facing each other at his prime as well as Nadal and Federer did. That would be great. I would also like that less known and big talented boxers would be recognized.
But sometimes this sport is more like a circus, the best proof is the August 26 "fight" in wich everybody is interested and the September 16 fight that only boxings fans care...
