Lol you summed it up,I reckon even Floyd Mayweather would be embarrassed to try and gain any edges for this farce,let's have it right I don't care how many MMA fights he has cause at the end of the day I'm pretty sure he's not even had one single fight as a pro boxer lol.
Anyway Floyd often said he never liked to go in the ring with any preconceived ideas as it often goes different anyway.

A part of the reason why Conor had his front hand down often is because he's fighting longer as a result of being in an MMA construct. He needs to account for takedown potential and it's at a better range for striking. In MMA, you don't see mid-close range shots where defensive responsibility in the traditional boxing form is present, that's just danger zone when striking.

Mayweather uses the punches you mentioned to outbox an opponent tactfully - if Mayweather makes these his staple punches thus tentatively boxing a 0-0 opponent, he would be nothing short of an embarrassing joke.

If this fight doesn't end up in an RTD victory for Mayweather, he should be given an L.

lol I know and I'm just amazed how many folk on YouTube proper believe that Conor is deadly serious,can't say I've ever seen a boxing conference where both guys walk around with a microphone awaiting their turn to dish up whatever crap they've already decided on lol.
I think that's one of the reasons we all know this a total hoax from the off,fake beef against each other over a few years,fake disputes over money and just an overall fake hoax feel re two fighters from two totally different sports,disciplines.
Not unlike Ussain Bolt calling out Mo Farah or vice versa,the star 100mtr sprinter deciding to fall out with 1500mtr long distance runner,please educate me on what is the difference between the two cause if Bolt n Farah started going at each other nobody would believe it would they?

If Macgregor was real about this he would have entered Boxing climbed the ranks and then called him out. But he knows, Floyd knows he would never have reached a level to legitimately challenge Floyd through the normal Boxers route. **** mE he would have fought Malignaggi in the Boxing Ring on his way there if he had.

 

He doesn't mean staged as in result as that's just silly as one is a life long pro the other has never fought one pro fight.
Correct me if I'm wrong but he means the whole thing is staged,fake beef,fake press tour,fake money arguments.
Come on only a blinkered MMA or wrestling fan would believe that any of this is real,perhaps the only one thing we can be sure of on the night that isn't staged will be the result and if you've seen anything of Floyd over the years you'd fancy a 12 round shut out with safety first approach but I'd like to think Floyd is gonna go for th stoppage/KO on the night,I hope his corner are switched on as it could prove to be downright dangerous for Conor,such is the difference of backgrounds and sports it may as well be me against Floyd on the night as I've the same qualifications as Conor**********Zero pro fights.
