Totally agree with this, I feel with his show for casuals he let down the sport of boxing. All I'm hearing and expect to hear all day again at work tomorrow is, he went 10 rounds, he won the 1st 3 rounds, he was hanging with him and never had a boxing match before with the best boxer out there.

Yes, lots will be saying things like it went 10, he won this and that. It just shows how little they know about boxing..

It's always the same, i just smirk at the idiots that say such things.. not a clue!

It was a bit silly to let mcgregor in the fight at all really when world class boxers haven't been able to get close to floyd, tells you all you need to know, anything else would have gone against the script for the casuals. It's made mayweather look bad to the real fans but doubt he cares, they made a killing.

    Are you kidding me?

The man's hands were down by his sides, he was taking shot after shot after shot to the head, clean punches to the dome.

    The man was so done.

I would have preferred to seen him get knocked out just to shut the MMA fans up, it was definitely coming, you'd have to be deluded to say otherwise, but the ref did the right thing, we don't want people getting hurt (too badly).

No one gases harder than David Price, that man should market his fights as a comedy act rather than a fight and he would beat PPV records!

Or FM didn't know what he was facing and a fresh Conor actually looked good, snapping FM head back with that jab. He has stamia issues ala Groves and Degale.

You pillocks, Conor is a UFC fighter making his boxing debut against one of the greatest boxers of all time, of course he was going to lose.

Onoki fight was set to be fake but Ali changed his mind, he was supposed to lose but then turned the fight real and brought in stupid rules, it was hilarious, Inoki just lay on his back kicking Alis legs, wrestling on TV is fake, Inoki was in a lot of fake wrestling matches.

Easy money, too many idiots out there betting with their hearts over head. How was Floyd even CLOSE to -400 odds. :yaay:headbash:aplastao::patadaenwevs::patadaenwevs::patadaenwevs::patadaenwevs:

I would have been salty if I didn't make that bet.

LOL MMA sites saying this was a victory for MMA fighters.

Seriously, if Conor went in there vs any other WW champ (Thurman, Spence,
Brook, Garcia, Peterson) who was looking to really stamp his name on the
consciousness of the boxing public, would he be still standing after three rounds?
No, he wouldn't. A cautious 40 yr old, in the ring after a two year layoff, let's him
hang in there for a while so the crowd gets its' money's worth, but a young stud
    would wipe him out early.

If Conor had paid his dues and had 10-15 fights leading up to this one (and he won
them all) then props to him but getting in there without even as much as a tune up
vs a UBER driver ....well it never was going to work, was it?

I've compared Conor to Madonna....both marketing geniuses. He's laughing all the way
to the bank right now with $100 million, but don't tell me MMA in any way got a victory
    tonight.
