Mayweather/McGregor Fight Discussion

This was the biggest scam ever perpetrated on the boxing world. This was not real people, and if you think it was, then you are either giving these actors far too much credit, or you don't know **** about boxing.

When was the last time you saw Floyd walk forward like a rank novice? and when was the last time you saw entire rounds that were choc-full of nothing punches??

I cant wait for the fight of the year to be had in 3 weeks time, just so the world can wash the foul taste of bulldust from their mouths, and we get two real deal boxers that will show what a true fight really looks like.

 

Who made the original poll in the first poll thread merged into this giant landfill? Was it you, MVC!, or are you just the author of the OP for the first chronological thread in the rattenkoenig, period (but not the first with a poll?)

Not sure why any grown adult boxing fan expected this thing to be real.

.... I can only assume this would appeal to novice casual fans, children, those among the MMA fans who really don't know boxing at all, and people who are into "pro wrestling" and monster trucks ......

 

You watched it did you not? Just accept it for what it was. Its less frustrating than all the fights we want done that never happen or happen too late. Both guy's where out of the game or never in it in the first place. Plus you get to watch it in a big party, with a bunch of mundies, normies, noobs or casual. Watever angry, nerdy hipster word is you flavor. All the while being the fight guru who predicted it correctly. Now if thats now fun youre just a grouch

 

There may be criticism of Mayweather and McGregor, but it is these 2 individuals who are going to be waking up with bank balances that are increased by multi millions of dollars, not bad for 10 rounds of fisticuffs.

I'd happily be criticized if my bank balance were to increase by just a fraction of what these fighters earned.

 

And now, does Magyfaggy get a shot at McGreggor?

 

I was VERY impressed by what Floyd had to say during the post fight press conference.
He was honest and respectful of Conor. He was asked what he'd say to young African-American fighters and he said "Invest your money". Also noted the difference between being rich and being wealthy. Seriously I'm on his bandwagon now. If he wants to run for President as another billionaire, I'm voting for him.

McGregor came to the podium drinking from a bottle of whisky...he obviously had been downing a few glassed. He was also respectful, nothing like the pre-fight nut job.

This is what I love about boxing, and what women don't understand (after talking to my wife about it)...men can beat the crap out each other but still RESPECT each other.

Definitely not an agreement. Mayweather being the Master promotor that he is simply let the fans get their money's worth. Floyd purposely not being active at all in rounds 1-3 and Connor landing some jabs. Connor also landed some good shots, although not damaging and powerful, from different angles. When Floyd decided to close the gap, push forward, fight on the inside, and put this fight away .. he did just that. It was a good stoppage, connor gettin' rocked, hands down, can't defend himself or counter punch, time to stop

 

It can become popular because:

1. people consider it fun
2. people enjoy having fun
3. people will pay to have fun.

Alphabet organizations have fun making money via providing the fun.

How did Floyd fight against Pac, same style? And if we needed anymore proof that compubox is complete rubbish. I saw Conor land a couple of jabs, an uppercut and a bodyshot. Plus a bunch of weird six inch taps that couldn't hurt an infant.

 

You've never seen Floyd fight before have you? That could be the only reason for this stupidity. Floyd always has a look in the opening few rounds before going to work.
