Based on how Floyd's been talking this week, I'm inclined to think he's really going to see through all six fights of his new deal with CBS. He doesn't sound like he's remotely close to stepping aside from what he's got going.

That's obvious given the difference of popularity between football and boxing nowadays. Nobody expects him to be as popular as Beckham.

But as a boxer, he's the most "worldwide known".
I still maintain he's popular among regular blacks. :bart

lol. the title is misleading. he actually gives Ward props and respects his beliefs.

but he does have a point, when he was speaking about boxers saying "god was on my side". but Ward doesn't say that stuff. he's more of a guy that thinks if he stays faithful to god, then he'll get what he wants. and S.O.G. doesn't mean he's THE son of god, it means A son of god.

but anyway, you can tell that there's a little bitterness because Ward is siding with Guerrero instead of Floyd. i don't think it's cool to talk bad about someone that looks up to you to the media. Ward isn't gonna sell out and change his personality to sell tickets. people should respect that.

that's no way to talk about the man that's gonna take your place as #1 :yep

WARD would be PBF's worst nightmare if they belonged in the same weight class.

Montell Griffin was well known in the 90's for getting ko'ed by RJJ in a minute:rofl...that garnered him more recognition than anything Ward has yet to achieve:lol:

It would never happen because Floyd only fights in Vegas and Ward only fights in Oakland.:good
