I wouldn't pay for that ****. I would watch it though. I know plenty of people that will pay to watch Floyd regardless of who he fights.

 

If he fights a no name like Spadafora, wouldn't he be able to take 90% of the pot instead of the usual splits that are closer to 50/50? That can be a motive for fighting a small name.

I agree with this unfortunately.

It would be funny if Spadafora managed to be competitive (win 2 to 3 rounds).

 

I doubt it. Last time Alexander won it was rather suspicious and his last fight was a complete shitfest. His numbers have gone down.
They could easily market Spadfora. Undefeated former champ going against another undefeated former champion. Both have over 40 wins.

I doubt hel be getting a split. More like a mil for you and the PPV + gate for me. Maybe split some merchandise.

 

He could make a whole lot more money using Saul Alvarez as a tune-up and get another WBC belt as well

Doubt Floyd cares for the belt.. He wouldn't even pay the fees to take Shane's belt after he beat him.

 

That can happen too. If Floyd fights a bull**** fight that does 1.3mil PPVs or whatever the hell, he could potentially make more taking the entire pot. He could do say 1.6mil with a Cotto, but he would have to split it 70/30.
