Mayweather or Ali? Whos got the better offense??

    Im somewhat torn between Ali,Louis,and Holmes.

    I agree.. Louis is certainly second to Ali, but I have Ali above him for sure. I feel strong about Ali being the greatest Heavyweight though, no other at that weight did what he did.

    In the most intimidating fighter threads, you will find prime Liston, prime Frazier, prime Foreman (who won the title back 20 years after getting knocked out.)

    Ali beat them all, and made poetry out of it with the way he would talk and get in their face.... He was the greatest, Robinson was the best...

    Something about what Ali represented makes me rate him as the greatest of all time. Personality, poet, what he did as a fighter and person.... I think he really was the greatest.:yep

    His resume surely doesn't take him out of the running.:deal

    I'm a Huge fan of both. But, Ali is more offensive than Floyd. Floyd is very accurate though as was Ali.

    The problem with me about Ali is that while he definitely was and could be charismatic, he also could be a real son of a *****. He alienated and degraded Frazier on a very personal level that goes beyond promotion. I don't know, I just get a bad taste in my mouth when I think about the way Ali abused Frazier. What are your thoughts?

    Yep i agree,it was fitting when Frazier put him on his ass and won the 1st fight,and the public looked at Frazier like he was the bad guy,american sports politics are misguided and wrongfully brutal to the wrong party a lot times.Yep Ali was a ****ing dickface Frazier did not deserve that treatment,he was a good man that cared about people he even cared about Ali,and look how the public treated Holmes uterly disgraceful.:-(
