Hopkins. I tell you where I'm at, I feel more comfortable in saying that Mayweather would beat most of the best around at super-featherweight, but then you've got the likes of Arguello and Sanchez. Hopkins would be facing stiffer competition for the most part, but I believe he can beat pretty much anyone at the weight. Would he beat Hagler or Monzon if they were to face once? Maybe not, but they would be mightly close. But in a series, I think he'd definitely get a awin against each. It's pretty subjective, to be honest, they are both right there near the top of the tree at their respective best divisions, but as I said, Hopkins would be facing better competition for the most part so I'd pick him.
Uh oh. Two more people voted for SNV movie trailer gifs. Fair enough. This content is protected This content is protected
Floyd avoided some challenges at 130 too, just not all of them...Corrales was big, but not much substance after, at least not what you would expect from a fighter as skilled and talented as Floyd.... BHop is fighting like he's taking HGH (I'm not saying he is)...That's truly what that hormone does for older men, lets them act and feel like they're 28 again...Bhop's just a beast...
The man who faced the better opposition and who defeated the better opposition. Bernard Hopkins. ..But Noni, too. This content is protected
I'll probably lean towards Floyd, because to me he is a combination of RJJ and Bhops. I think if he really wanted to he might pretty well beat the best WW's and JMW's in the world, he has the total package, but he simply does not have the courage aka balls. And it's kinda sad someone even smaller than him is doing what he should of been doing and fighting vs the same opponents that yrs ago Floyd avoided and Floyd knew the people wanted to see him fight, Cotto and Margarito. The ironic and funny thing is probably Floyd might of beaten them both and called it a day. Now, he has to deal with a bigger threat in a smaller package, and possibly the other 2 juniormiddleweights that are making noise at 160 in Martinez and Williams, who both would love to fight Floyd. Easily, Hopkins has the better resume, the better wins, but Floyd isn't far behind, but overrall he has less flaws than Bhops had. Bhops was a better fighter at the end of his career, but wasn't in his prime, so the timing of that didn't help him. Floyd is in his prime, but the last 2 fighters he's fought definitely weren't, but I'll give him the benefit of the doubt.
Photoshoots published are always airbrushed...doesn't matter who's being photographed. Still...Noni doesn't need to be airbrushed. This content is protected This content is protected This content is protected
