Ortiz demeanor changed prior to the Berto fight for me. I sense a man mustering any little bit of determination and hatred into his boxing to motivate himself. He knows he used to take the easy route in fights, Against Berto he went through it all to win not only the title but to claw back some respect he had lost from his peers.

He's clearly not all there but he's honest and will put up a honest fight. Floyd knows what he's doing, tbh i found the his attitude that of a man picking a fight on someone he sees as weak and vulnerable. Someone he can manipulate mentally outside the ring and then on the night.

Yep, that's the impression i get as well, Mand. Floyd is just laughing at him. He'll mentally abuse him and that's before we even get to the X's and O's of the fight.

People have been completely swayed by the Berto fight. Berto is another mentally weak guy who needs things his own way (his skillset doesn't have much depth substance either) but watch loads of people give Floyd massive props for shutting out/stopping a guy who has one (barely) notable win at Welter, no wins of any substance at 140, and who capitulated against Maidana and Peterson.

    What. A. Mismatch.

floyd knows a easy fight that looks hard and can b/s sold to the idiot public.

Oritz hasnt the defence, the boxing ability or the heart to beat floyd.

floyd will outbox him and stop him at some point.

ortiz beating a very unproven berto isnt as good as people make out.

Exactly. At 140 he looked to be no fighter at all, talented but mentally fragile.

This will all come out again here; but of course, because he's an opponent for Floyd, he's **** hot;)
