Here is the thing it has to be somebody that can play a good hero role because Floyd needs that to fill MGM and have good PPV buys. Only 3 people can do that right now Manny Sergio maybe Canelo super outside chance Khan. Only fight you could be a little bit upset with is Canelo

His response was more like "Maybe". He didn't specifically said no nor did he said yes. At this point, if they're negotiating at behind closed doors, then there's no reason for him to come out and admit that the fight is a done deal when Manny isn't even done with his next upcoming fight yet. Some of y'all are way too desperate to takes everything that you hears or reads for granted.

Remembered when Manny said that the drug testing would disrupted his training camp before he fought Clottey back in 2010, but now he's totally okay with it[Not that there's anything wrong with that]. But it just shows that both sides contradicts themselves. It's not that different compared to Manny's response about him saying that he doesn't care if the mega fight happen or not because he's satisfied with his accomplishments.

it's awful man. If they said, well I doubt that fight will still get made. Or that wasn't fair of Floyd to announce this right now. Or I'm sceptical this time because of the failed times they tried. Then I'd understand

But these guys are acting like Floyd just went and killed the whole fight. They think Floyd is putting up roadblocks to stop the fight like forcing them to fight in Vegas :-(

And think of this. We know both teams have big egos. Neither one wanted to call the other one first and talk. Well Floyd's team finally said, we'll make the first move. This is why I'm excited about this, because finally somebody is going to (in the future) call the other side.
I was expecting Pac fans and Arum to be happy also or at the least be a little sceptical. But these guys are pissed off. They're furious :scaredas:

    I don't get it :conf

dont play stupid, both sides have huge egos as u said, would have been better to say "we want the fight" instead of talking about dates, venue before both sides even talked

Ok so Ellerbe states that PAC agreed to the testing right?
So that part is out of the way coming from Team Floyd itself.

Then he said Fights on May 5th. Reasonable enough.

But now Floyd is saying no it's not?
WTF kind of bullisht is this?

At least we know PAC agreed to the test.

they did say they wanted it :patsch

why are yall reading so much into this. Floyd just had the date ready for a few reasons
It's a perfect setting that both teams would naturally agree to
Floyd has the date on lock just in case negotiations fall through
He can show Arum that he's serious about getting the fight made

If it's this big of a deal, then Arum can say no thank you and Floyd can go fight Sergio. **** it, you guys obviously don't want the fight, so Floyd team can move on the Sergio because this is ridiculous. The man is doing everything he can and he's getting **** for it

No Floyd is saying he's not fighting Pacquiao, because they haven't agreed to anything yet.

You're one of the more knowledgeable and more objective Pac fans, don't get sucked into this

It's like being in a room full of ******s... Reporter or whomever asks are you fighting pac. Mayweather sarcastically says " I didn't know I was fighting pac". Just step back and fill in the d****ing facts. When this question was asked there is no fight with pac even in ****ing negotiations. Floyd could of said we will try or possibly other than that he was just getting smart same as any other time. *******s are worse than unreasonable bitches. Untuck your ho chi minh and just hope something happens. I know you dudes get off on thinking floyd is scared rather than wanting this **** settled in the ring.

Exactly how I feel... Be skeptical, no issue there.. But saying he's avoiding the fight by booking Vegas or saying he didn't know he was fighting Pac next isn't right... It's like any progress towards the fight they hate and anything that can be viewed anyway as negative they'll find a way and do it.

He said they're trying to make the biggest fight possible, the little guy. And he said he heard they finally agreed to testing. Nowhere did he say they did make the fight or he's for sure next. Floyd is just saying the same thing, he didn't know Pac was next either. They haven't began negotiations, so it's no way of knowing that.

    :rofl :good

It seems a prerequisite to be a True Mayweather fan is that you leave your ability to reason at the door and automatically become the interpreter (enabler) for the Pretty One's antics. :hey:smoke
