I`m not saying Witter deserves a crack at Mayweather but he is more deserving than Matthew Hatton if indeed the rumours are true that Hatton is being lined up.

It may make sense for Khan to go in with Mayweather if he is coming to the UK.Roach could get a real close up of Mayweather and Khan would learn an awful lot even in defeat.

This Hatton bollocks is getting for too much credence based on a (so far) completely foundless Internet rumour...its getting repeated so much that people are thinking there must be something to it but theres no evidence or logic behind the theory at all.

I don't get this fight at all. Mayweather might as well bring another top quality fighter over because witter isn't selling anywhere fast except a seat or two

Mayweather knows he can not beat Witter. This will not happen.

FFS not you as well. What is it with all the hate for Roach recently. He's a top bloke. I don't know how anyone can not like Freddie.

If Mayweather is coming over, stick Khan in with him. Khan will lose but he is the best we have around the weight. If the fights at 147 or a catchweight, talk is Floyd v Pac would be 144, then Khan keeps his belt.

I know it'll never happen but imagine if Khan did get in with him and pulled off an upset, that would be of the charts in terms of aceness.

Bashing Roach has become the fashionable thing for some reason unknown to me.

He was quite disrespectful to Hatton on the last 24/7. (tho honest)
I was surprised at that as he normally comes across really well.

    Maybe thats it?

I haven't ever disputed Roach's ability as a trainer - it's pretty tough to do so without appearing like a know-nothing fool.

But one must admit that he has been (and remains) a frontrunner of sorts - a bit Manny Steward-esque..... it's alright being really clever, tactically and techincally spot on, which he is, but if your fighter is hopeless...... it means very little. He has been fortunate, IMO, to have come across (or been handed) some excellent raw materials to polish.

Though on the flipside there is clearly a reason why a lot of managers look to use his services.

I just think he has gotten too big for his boots, and this Dr. Roach **** is out of hand.

I'm always one to knock down hypetrains and criticise people who are letting their ego get the better of them and involving themselves in issues that are not their concern.

All those apply to Roach, at present.
