Wlad is fighting a very dangerous undefeated fighter that is a couple inches and about 20 pounds bigger than him. Did I mention he is also older than Mayweather.

135 fought castillo he lose this one clear,rematch him and beat so props to floyd,but he never fought any notable fight in this division even we had spadafora,johnston,dorin,freitas move up also instead he fought sosa,ndou,corley and the worst cherry pick bruseless cotto sparing partner

140 he fought the weakest champion a shot to pieces arturo gatti, never fought kotsya the man at 140 that time, a beast cotto,hatton and he fought mitchell

147 he fought judah after judah lost badly to a journey man baldomir,then fought the journeyman itself this was a stack division that time we got margarito,cotto,clottey,mosley,paul will,cintron, even collazo was at his best shape at this moment of time i think martinez was calling him out too

154 fought oscar past prime then he moves backdown at 147 and fight hatton unproven at this weight imo he lost to collazo.then floyd retire and let the top ww fight each other lol.

He fought Wepner 5 months after Foreman and then was back in the ring 2 months after that to fight Lyle and then was BACK in the ring a month after that to fight Bugner. 4 months after Bugner he was battling Frazier again.

If Floyd was more active the Berto fight would be less of a let down. I'm a big Mayweather fan but it's hard to get into this fight.

 

He has a contract with Showtime that he needs to honor, 6 fights in case you forgot

How does a fight with the lightly regarded WBO Champion (Margarito) matter more than defeating the lineal champion? Last I checked Floyd fought Baldy (lineal) and Judah (IBF) to become the true lineal champion. What did Margarito do at that time other than lose to Paul Williams and go life and death with Clottey?
