mayweather vs clottley ppv could sell same as pac vs clottley

can mayweather sell over a million ppvs with out any mexican fighter in undercard/main event..we know pac sold 700000ppvs vs clottley..could maynever sell same or more.

Count me out. I've never payed for a Mayweather fight and I certainly won't start with a Clottey matchup. I'm tempted for the Cotto fight since I believe he is the most live opponent Floyd has faced in years, but I will probably pass on that too.

 

mayweather claims to be the ppv king but in reality could he fill in 50 thousand ppl in a cowboy stadium n sell close to 70o thousand ppvs against an unknown clottley..im a fan of both so dnt count me as a hater on a ******* just wana hear some toughts...

 

The reason Pacquiao sold that much is because of the propaganda about him being the small guy going up in weight to fight a big strong welterweight champion.

Manny is not as big of a draw as Floyd in terms of PPV and revenue.

Look at the common opponents and you will find that Manny does less numbers in every fight minus Marquez 3. Marquez 3 also took 7 years to build up, where as Mayweather Marquez only took 4 months to build up.

floyd relies on hype. he always uses big names on his undercard also like canelo, mosley, etc. remember also that pac-clottey has no 24/7 and yets sell 700k. it sell just because of the pure pacquiao draw when no one knows who clottey is.

 

Almost no one knew who VIctor Ortiz was and that still did 1.25 mil
