Khan is getting better. Right now floyd TKO/KO. Could be points for Khan in 2 years, who knows.

Early 2012, Khan should have 3-5 fights under his belt by then. The fight would be interesting.

I really think that in a year Khan would have a chance against a ageing Mayweather. He really really fast , faster than Floyd infact.

Even then I don't think Khan would have matured into a good welterweight. It's a suicidal fight to take, as Mayweather even at 70% could ruin him for good. Not in the sense that he'd badly hurt Khan, but he'll outclass him by a damaging margin. Things like that can mess up a young fighter.

But if I was to take a more optimistic look at this match-up, the only benefit for Khan I can see, is if he manages to give Mayweather a spirited challenge. It'll do his confidence a world of good, knowing that he had a good fight with the greatest fighter of the past 20 years.

Well, if you look at it from a business perspective, you can only be at the elite level for so long with Khan's chin. At least everyone gets a gigantic cash out with Floyd ruining Khan. Khan cleaning up 140 and beating a few carefully selected opponents will be enough to make him a credible opponent for Floyd. I don't think they would make as much money continuously letting him fight guys who aren't Floyd compared to a Mayweather superfight in the UK. It's best to cash out as soon as possible when working with that kind of chin. Walk away with what you won at the gambling table instead of putting it up for extra gambling. Khan has talked about retiring at only 25 before, he'll be 25 in an early 2012 fight.

Golden Boy wins either way. Floyd winning means Floyd ages well just like Bernard Hopkins. Khan winning means Floyd became too old and naturally passed on the "Money" to a younger prizefighter.

You don't give Amir Bankroll Khan any chance for victory?

They shouldn't put him in if all he does is beat Maidana and Alexander. I'm not interested in seeing a young fighter getting sacrificed.

Khan gets off to a fast start working and upsetting Floyd with his fast long jab.

Floyd gives Khan the 1st few rounds, hoping he would adjust and start countering Khan, but Floyd age starts to show and Khan's workrate does let up, Floyd finds it hard to time Khan due to Khan's faster handspeed and high guard.

Khan shocks the world and becomes the first person to outpoint Floyd Mayweather Jr and goes down in boxing history.
