147? That is real proof that PBF is not great. He can easily make 140. Why shouldn't he fight there? Because he is scared.

With Floyd insisting the fight with JMM at 147, it looks like Floyd's ducking!

If this fight gets made at even one pound past the 140 lbs limit, I'll lose all respect I have for Mayweather.....

This fight is an honest to goodness intrigueing matchup that Mayweather would be a solid favorite over Marquez at 140 lbs......

......for the fight to take place at over that weight when Mayweather can damn well make 140 lbs easy, would be a complete disgrace, and yes, a tell all sign that Mayweather is'nt sure of himself to fight JMM at a weight thats suitable for both.

I'm one to give Mayweather props for beating JMM at 140 lbs, but a victory would be greatly diminished if it took place at a higher weight than 140 lbs.

this is utterly biased. why should the challenger dictate what weight they'll fight in? pbf is giving jmm the shot of his life by taking on him. pbf could have easier fights that would sell as well as a fight with jmm at 147.

i think it's stupid that jmm called out pbf then asking him to go back down in weight. even hatton who is a much bigger name than jmm did not deman a catch weight.

pbf has no need for jmm. a win over jmm will just be "a good win over a smaller fighter" to the haters. if jmm wants this, he should fight pbf at 147.

i think you are dear wrong on this one divac. dead wrong

You know, if Mayweather cant make 140 lbs any longer, he should just come out and say it......."I'll fight anyone at 147 lbs and above, as I no longer can make 140 lbs.....

......I'll mortgage my house that Mayweather wont open himself up in those terms......because if he says that, then there is a man right now who just opened up a can of whoop ass on Winky Wright, and yes, who is willing to come down two weight divisions to fight Mayweather.......thats fight Paul Williams!

Mark my words, Mayweather would run all the way down to 135 lbs to fight JMM, if it meant not having to fight Paul Williams......

.....and btw clowns......JMM did call out Mayweather Jr......but he also mentioned in an immediate interview to journalist that he'd climb to 140 lbs to fight the winner of Pac-Hatton or Mayweather jr......

.....in other words, he called out Mayweather to make it happen at 140 lbs......

Mayweather Jr. cant come down 5 pounds from his last fight with Hatton.........but Paul Williams is willing to climb down two freakin weight divisions to fight Mayweather.......

.......now you tell me who has balls????

you interpreted that the way you wanted to. jmm called out pbf period. if he isnt just trying to stir **** up, he should be willing to fight mayweather at the the weight mayweather last fought in. if ivan calderon called out varchinyan and asked him to go back down to 112, even if he could, that would not make much sense would it?

jmm called out mayweather and it is extremely weak of him to demenad a fight at 140. the scenario you drew up with jmm challenging pbf at 140 because he also challenged the winner of pac-hatton at 140 is laughable.

didnt jmm announce to the world that he'll chase pac to 147 just to get another shot at him? then why not take pbf at 147 if he knows he'll can fight at 147?
