no such thing as a warm up when there are only so many mayweather fights left......at this rate he will fight every 15 months...why waste it on a mismatch and have to wait another year for him to talk **** about fighting the bast and then he ill call out Pacman or a rematch with Hatton...instead of a real challenge...hell before he retired we were almost forced to see DLH II....which no one gave a **** about except for the 2 fighters

now that is some funny bull****:rofl, why would a ******* fear for a jmm-mayweather fight at 140?:huh especially considering that it has nothing to do with pac moron:nut

Floyd whichever weight he fights marquez would win at the end of the day so that has to be a ****ing joke when you said we fear for a 140 marquez fight:rofl

And marquez when he called out floyd, shouldn't have been dumb enough to expect the fight to take place at 140, why do you think ffloyd wants 147? answer - because he can't make any weight lower anymore, your assumptions that floyd won't fight marquez at 140 because he fears him at 140 is stupid because i honestly believe floyd would win 10 times out of 10 if they ever get to fight at 140. Whats the issue here is maybe he can't make the weight no more which we all don't know. And you always seem to dismiss that point

He said he wanted a break, he's done taking it.

He wants a warm up.Fighting JMM in a warm up aint bad.

Who says JMM has to put on extra weight?

I don't know about everyone else, but I assumed 140 would be where they would fight. PBF should be able to cut a few pounds of water-weight to get down there. If he can't make the weight, and JMM won't fight at 147, then don't make the fight. No big deal.

JMM is a big name that I would assume presents a fight to PBF that would not be too difficult for the self-proclaimed GOAT. He's old and there's no telling how many rounds are left in his tank. Especially fighting at WW.

I do hope they come to an agreement, though.

exactly , you are making everyones point. we all think floyd wins 10 out of 10 fights with JMM...thats why NO ONE wants to see the ****ing fight....regardless if JMM "called him out" people call people out every day after a big fight.... it doesnt set ground rules for floyd to make demands at whatever weight he wants

yes dlh, castillo, corrales, etc. do i need to point out more? floyd was always the smaller guy when he face those fighters and its a fact you moron:deal so what if pac KOd hoya? that statement right there is irrelevant:patsch

And did you know that floyd has been retired for 2 years now? i guess you don't, when he decides to come back it is only fair that he gets to choose and be it easy fight or not since it is a tune up. And imo marquez as a tune up is already a great and smart choice for floyd, the guy is p4p no.2 and a great fighter. Its better than facing 3 or so cab drivers:rofl for tune ups:deal

    It's a warm up fight.

What's wrong with warm up fights?

It seems that you like to hold him on another level yet talk **** on him like he's not on that level.

Pick what you want to do.
Fact is, it's been almost 2 years, he needs a warm up fight.

JMM called him out, perfect set up.

    keyword: tune up

jmm is low medium risk, high reward for floyd and is p4p no.2 that says a lot about floyd taking marquez as his tune up bout:deal

Cotto is a dumb fight to do right now. He has no draw, and is coming off a cherry picked warm up fight.

Mosley is a pointless fight, he will be deemed too old after Mayweather beats him. Also, Mosley has said he only wants big fights, and has said he does not want to fight WIlliams.

If Williams aint a big fight to Mosley.. it wont be for Floyd.

    Margo lol..

Williams, will never happen, smart move for Floyd.

you are completely wrong, marquez was the one who called out floyd so he needs to get there to where floyd is at. Even if the fight gets made at 147, he doesn't necessarily need to make 147 he can weight lower than that like 142 or 143.

And again if jmm backs out of this fight he's setting himself to be the chicken of boxing since he called out floyd and now he's chickening out:yep

and lastly and i hope so i dont ever repeat this again, this is a tune up bout for floyd

    A) Floyds hasnt fought in 16 months has not been retired for 2 years
    b) how the **** are corrales, castillo, "ect" bigger than him? they all fought in the same division at the same time! MORON
    c) you cant use DLH as a bigger guy excuse when a flyweight knocked him the **** out....well you can but its a damn stupid example and works against you
    d) yeah of course fighting a a guy who has fought the last 13 out of 15 years a FEATHERWEIGHT and will be 36 years old this year is a "SMART" fight for floyd...but does not make it desirable for anyone who pays for tickets or ppvs.
if Floyd is so ****ing great and will beat him 10 times out of 10 times...why do you want to see it? when you are great like Floyd...you dont need tune ups on 36 year old featherwights....when Sugar Ray Leonard came out of retirement and fought Hagler...he didnt have a "tune up" but then again...sugar ray is GREAT and also fought a beast and a BIGGER man in his comeback.....
    :deal:hi:
