SFW was in my opinion his best weight the weight jumping is something im not considering at all. Castilllo is a controversial fight but i did feel FMj won it by afew points and he wasnt in top form. Naz was dynamic but so was FMJ he threw shots most people hadnt heard of double left hooks to head and body, right hand leads etc... he was very dynamic and could change strategy as a fight wore on. The mayweather RJJ debate could go on for hours we should leave that
watch the fight footage of when Naz KO'd Sergio Liendo there is no way Mayweather could pull off something as spectucular as that Mayweather may be all round better but for me Naz had way more flair and power and dynamic explosive talent
PBF by knockout. If the likes of Kevin Kelley put Naz down PBF will keep him down. Can you see Naz beating the undefeated Corrales when he was at 130 pounds?
Kevin Kelly was a very good fighter. He was something like 40+ wins 1 loss - when he fought Hamed He was skilful and slick And a former WBU / WBC World Featherweight Champion Hamed still sparked him in 4
the only thing why I can see Hamed not winning is size difference / reach, etc Hamed was only a little guy - short And Mayweather even bigger than Hatton at Light Welterweight Mayweather was a Super Featherweight who then had the capcity to grow into bigger weights While Hamed was just a Featherweight who was never really big enough to need to move up the weights Despite Gavin Evans saying Naz would win World titles all the way up to Light Middleweight :nut
I am not saying that Kevin Kelley was not a very good fight or for that matter a lot of Naz and PBF were excellent fighters such as Angel Manfredy, Tom Boom Boom Johnson etc. The reason I bring up Kelley is that PBF was and is even more skilful, slicker and better than this person who came close to defeating Naz at his peak.
For me Naz would lose clearly because PBF has the better skills physically and better psychologically.
I think the Bungu fight was the closest he ever came to replicating his form at super bantam. Watch Robinson/Angles/ Polo Perez/ Liendo then watch Johnson etc... its not the same fighter. Its a lazy, still ilusive puncher relying 90% on his power. Before that he was brilliant.
Just out of interest, what makes you think that? You basically have two counter punchers who usually wait for the opponent to initiate and build their attacks, on an effective (and in Naz's case, unorthodox) defence, or at the very least they rely heavily on their ability to manouvere their opponents into a vulnerable position. You'll have two fighters who won't know what to make of each other. It will be cautious and slow for the most part, IMO.
Naz never boxed above 126, a good intelligent fighter with a good jab would dominate Naz just like Barrera did, Naz would allways have a punchers chance but Mayweather would outbox him.
