I don't think that a conscientious decision to "boycott" this ppv is necessary. its going to get **** figures either way.

this is actually a great line up, but i dont think it should be PPV simply because no Brit is involved. They should at least try get a UK leg?

Kinda surprised at the criticism of this on the forum. Sure it's obvious why everyone's pissed off because normally this would have been on a regular Sky Sports channel but it's still a way better pay per view than any I can remember in ages. This will likely be better than all 4 of Haye's put together and Amir Khan's have been even more laughable because he's now had over half a dozen pay per view bills and about the best was Khan/Kotelnik :patsch

Still I'm not buying it :deal

    They can **** off.

If we buy this then we're sending a message to US promoters - that UK fans will lap this **** up and pay £15 for it.

It may look a good card on paper but...

Floyd/Ortiz - Ortiz went life and death with Berto, couldn't put Lamont away. Floyd will toy with him.

Morales/Mattyhsse - Maidana flattered Erik, Lucas is much more rounded and he'll probably beat Erik up :-(

Gomez/Alvarez - remember when Cotto fought Gomez? He absolutely brutalised him and that was at welterweight. Canelo's just going to beat up on Gomez. Gomez had a close fight with Soto-Karass down at welter and Canelo is a big LMW.

Vargas/Lopez - good fight, Vargas is an up and coming guy and Lopez is on a solid run but is this any better than some of the headline bouts on ESPN FNF?

The card may have a shitload of names on it but not many even fights IMO. And it's on at 4am with Duke McKenzie commentating.

    Is it really worth £15?

I'll download the 24/7's as well as least I get them in HD even if primetime do put them on for free.

One guy who may well have more than a slight interest in how well this does is Dana White :deal

    :lol::lol:

Just can't believe people are justifying this. If they one day make Mayweather/Pacquiao I will buy that on Box Office or Primetime but not this. A new low ;)

In what way is it worse than Khan v Judah and Khan v McCloskey totalling £32.50?

I'm not supporting it but there have been way, waaay worse.

Don't talk ****, you aren't buying this in a million years. If you won't pay to see your idol Khan

I know this is a different case, but as I said the other day, if Sky won't do PPV, boxers and promoters will go to somewhere that does. This could set a dangerous precedent for any old card from the States to go on PPV. I'm not happy about this at all.

And I didn't buy any of those as well.

Just cos this is a bit better than what we usually get doesn't me we should buy it. Those Khan PPV's should not be used as a yardstick.

Its 4 in the morning. I'd buy it for 4.95, maybe 6.95.

Saul Alvarez isn't on the card, its in another place. Will they be showing 2 shows on this PPV? I don't know.

Fair enough. Like I said I'm not justifying any of the pay per views, they've all been pretty **** in general, only the Mag 7 one recently I've enjoyed and even then it was a bit too fishy ;) Oh and the 2nd Mag 7 one which was saved because of Khan/Maidana.

I just find it interesting how a few more are kicking up a fuss to stop this being PPV yet there weren't as many complaints about David Haye's pretend run as heavyweight champion costing £45 on SBO for fans to pay another £15 to watch him do effectively nothing against the champion.

This card isn't that great I agree, all the fights are really one-sided IMO
