HA! I remember seeing footage of one of their sessions, Williams pulled a Judo move on Lennox and threw him to the canvas.
I apologize if some folks thought this was a PBF bashing thread. I just posted this since PBF was supposedly injured during sparring, there wasn't any news who PBF was sparring against with untill now.
Proves notting more then he need more sparing after long inactivity period. This happens fairly often. Dont make to much of it. Or should i say get your hopes of seing him trashed up to much.
How DARE Gorman upstage Spadafora's demolishing of PBF in sparring?? Gorman, if you're listening, Spaddy is gonna come lookin' for you because hitting PBF in sparring is the best thing he's ever done in the ring. Spadafora vs. Gorman coming to a PPV near YOU!!!
until somebody does it in a real fight that count's, it don't mean nothing. If a football team goes undefeated in the pre-season does it mean they are going to win the superbowl? No it don't, all it means is they went undefeated in the pre-season they gotta do it for real when it counts.
You can see the entire session in that biography Britain had for Lewis, forgot the name of it but it was about the preparation for the first Holyfield fight and I've seen it many times though it's in an external hard disk that I need to search for. VERY exciting biography and highly recommended. Williams was going crazy, every time he got hit he would snap and start using weird ass tactics till he eventually lost it and went WWE mode. He actually threw Lewis all the way to the corner. The guy was nuts.
His retirement was all about giving his body a break, anyone that knows Mayweather should have seen through it and his last two performances had those signs. Sometimes breaks like the one he had can bring a fighter back even better or worse or just the same.
