    Excuses?

it's a list of justified reasons.

    Answer my question.

Based on punch resistance, toughness and ability to absorb a beating which group does Cotto (who has QUIT once and been tko's once) belong in?

Never been stopped JMM and Mosley

Or fellow quitter Ortiz and no defence Hatton

    :think

Floyd gets a lot of credit for sucker punching a quitter and stopping a guy with no defense.

I'd be surprised if Floyd stops Cotto

    9-3 type decision for PBF.

I'm not "giving floyd credit" for stopping them.

i'm simply noting that Cotto is LIKE them

This is the best fight available for floyd at the min.arum wont let his cash cow fight mayweather.lets not forget floyds 35 this month.he walks around at 151.floyd will never get credit he deserves.his legacy was made after oscar.five weight wotld champ beat wbc champs in each weight.this is just building up his bank balance

Don't apologise to that *******. You were right the first time. Pac doesn't deal well with movement as he has no idea how to cut off the ring. He was confused and frustrated by Mosely and absolutely befuddled by JMM.

All these idiots talking about how Pac beat Cotto up seem to forget he beat on a weight-drained, practically skeletal Cotto who at 145 had no stamina and ran out of gas in the first few rounds.

If Floyd will fight like against Ortiz he'll get knocked out, watch the fight and you'll see that Victor connected a few punches.

I like both fighters but really feel for Cotto here.

UD or late TKO hes going to take a beating.

I hope Floyd doesnt take him on how he took on Ortiz, or its Cottos last fight

I cant knock the fight because Floyds moving up in weight and because Cotto has looked good in past fights, i just dont want to see Cotto go out like this :(

I expect Cotto to at least look decent for a few rounds. But once Mayweather figures him out, it is over. Cotto is not great at adapting. This and poor defense will be his undoing.

Stylistically, Cotto presents Floyd with certain challenges that should be interesting to see how it all goes down.

But yeah, Floyd still heavy favourite to win a comfortable decision in my books.
