Mayweather will fight every welter except Cotto, until he's forced too

haha im gonna save this thread and bump it when cotto his ass handed to him by PBF. I'll post pictures and videos so we get all the graphic detail.

Wrong! Cotto doesn't have the styles advantage. He's at a disadvantage. He's facing a guy who can outbox him who will hit him and not get hit much in return who has better stamina, faster hands, a better chin, great defense great footwork and has the ability to adjust to all styles. Oscar's jab is still light years ahead of Cotto's and BTW it's the same jab PBF took away from Oscar not to mention Oscar is a bigger man with longer reach and more handspeed totally not comparable. Cotto is an easy fighter to find and PBF being the most accurate boxer in the sport will find him all night long. PBF is a defensive master he will touble Cotto with his movement and defense and will counter him as well. I just don't see how Cotto beats PBF. He busts up too easily and fights dumb.

I'm expecting all the n00b jibe's here as i don't post but i read this forum a lot lol...

Cotto can't and won't beat Floyd if they meet, top and bottom of it. People bag' on Mayweather fan's for thinking he's unbeatable, but with the current crop of WW's he pretty much is. Margarito hit Cotto a lot, so imagine what Floyd would do. Someone said that Cotto would do what DLH did but if you watch the fight again and again, everything DLH threw at Mayweather was blocked and parried to perfection and the same thing would happen with whatever Cotto threw at him. I like Cotto and believe he'll be the dominant WW in year's to come but it's pretty obvious to see what Floyd would do with him.
Fair enough, there is a lot of unanswered question's with Floyd that come in the shape of Margarito, Cotto, Mosely, Williams, etc, and my general belief is that Floyd has the ability to beat every one of them. Even if he does somebody will alway's be like "oh he did'nt beat him, bla bla bla", it's something you come to learn and expect being a boxing fan. I just hope he come's back and prove's all his doubter's wrong.

 

Oscar doesn't have a better jab than Cotto, infact Cotto has the most underated jab in boxing. Plus Cotto is more consistent than Oscar, throws more combinations than Oscar and is a vicsious body puncher. You sure you watch cotto when he fights, or do you put blindfolds on to accept the truth when your emotions start to kick in from the die hard hate you have for Cotto.

Floyd potshots too much and tries to coast at times and Cotto is gonna make him fight and also, Cotto has a pretty good defense, which is why shane mosley couldn't get his combinations off on him. His timing is also great, which will be the key element to everything else I pointed out that Cotto has that will beat Floyd. Cotto doesn't have that much trouble with slick boxers, but Floyd has a ton of more trouble with pressure, and he'd fighting a guy he could apply more pressure on him than he's ever had to deal with.

Fitz, Cotto actually tried to fight floyd a year ago, Arum wanted it to. but floyd made excuses, saying Cotto knew he oculdn't beat me, called Cotto a punching bag, but then said he won't do business with Arum. Cotto wanted the fight and wondered why floyd called him self the best but wouldnt fight him. Cotto then said he had to move on with his career and ended up fighting Gomez. Arum blasted into floyd calling him a "psychological coward" HBO wanted the fight too. then floyd saw he was gonna get railroaded to fight the Cotto-Margarito winner and suddenly sought to escape into hiding from it via the sham retirement.

No doubt there is something about Cotto that strikes fear into lil floyd and he don't want any of that. Also floyd keeps harping on some BS that he wanted to fight Cotto like 7 years ago but Arum refused. That's just fairy tales. He never wanted Cotto and he will never want to fight Cotto, unless he gets punchy.
